Updated on January 31, 2015

Ways to Become Rich: You Can

You can find ways to become rich. Perhaps you are tired of reading about the many self-made millionaires, Perhaps it is a good time for you to start thinking about becoming rich. If you really want to become a millionaire--start planning for it today! Getting rich is not an over-night process and will take lots of thinking, planning, organization and some luck. Take some time to research what has worked for successful business people and make a plan for yourself. Be willing to change that plan often. There is always room for one more success story.

What are some of your special talents? What do think is missing from your life? What is going on in today's landscape that can be improved? Those are just a few thoughts to mull over in your mind. Ask people what they feeling is missing in their life and maybe that will be a beginning starting point. If you are lucky enough to have very rich friends, find out how they became that way.

Once you get an idea make sure to research it thoroughly to see if it has been done. If it has been done--maybe you can do it better!. Have confidence you can find ways to get rich.

All of the suggestions need lots of work and research. Don't leave any stone unturned. If you want it to happen you can find ways to get rich

Getting Money for your Project

Lets assume you have spent hours of research and have come up with the perfect idea. Start asking people what they think of your idea. As people if they could use your product or service. Take a poll of people online or find a way you can get the information you need. Online you will find many sources of successful people in business. Since this is a passion, make it a passion in your life. Perhaps you need some money to get started. Before you start asking for dollars to fund your idea make sure you have lots of data and good information to back up your new idea.

There are several ways to get money for your project:

1. Friends and family

2. Your bank

3. A small business loan

4. Find someone interested in what you have that can support the project.

Summing Up Becoming Rich

This is certainly not a simple idea or project to do on a rainy day. Becoming successful requires total commitment. You have to feel the passion of your product or service. It is something that is with you day and night. And there are never any guarantees for success. However, you are one step closer to reaching your goal of becoming one of those success stories. You can find ways to become rich if that is your life dream.

Investing Your Money

Another thought to getting rich is investing in bonds, the stock market or a business. There are no get rich quick schemes that have been proven to work. Of course there is the one in a million investment that could yield lots of money. People have taken a thousand dollars and turned into a fortune, but this is highly unlikely. There are businesses to invest in, limited partnership, real estate and many more venues. This process of becoming rich is often slow, tedious and frustrating. If you have the spark and desire you are just that closer that you can find ways to get rich.

thank you so much. I know this is all tough today, but we don't want to give up the American dream ..or mostly should I say our dreams. Planning, working and hoping.

This is an inspirational piece and it may be the springboard for someone who has been idle and needs a direction, particularly in today's economic climate.

Above and beyond this, unfortunately, today the banking industry isn't an easy approach in light of the housing market debacles. And, unless families are both wealthy and generous, chances are, they won't want to lend either.

It is a tough place right now for those seeking positions and those attempting to create businesses. However, this hub was fruitful in garnering attention and generating dialogue.

      Thanks for a good read.

Interesting hub Carol. Hard work is one way, saving money regularly is another. Having a business idea that clicks can make one a millionaire overnight but only after one has put in the hard work required to start that business set up.

      Good hub.

      Voted up & interesting.

Since not many of us are going to win the lottery, it'll have to be perseverance and hard work, it helps if the idea is something you already love doing. Nice work voting up.

You sound like a very enterprising person. Getting rich is not an overnight happening. It takes years of hard work and saving and investing correctly. I admire you for having your own businesses. That is not an easy task.

Have you ever read the book The Millionaire Next Door? It helps dispel the myth of overnight success and basically suggests that hard work over time at even the most humble occupations, paired with frugality, will get you closer to being a millionaire than many other routes. This is good advice overall. On the other hand (and I'm being my own devil's advocate), workers today face challenges of exorbitant healthcare and a serial employment so that this way of accruing millions is not as reliable as it was back in the day when you could work for the railroad or the government or the school district and sock away hundreds or even thousands every year in a retirement plan. I guess the takeaway is diligence, applied in an area with great reward (which usually implies great risk as well). Good luck to all—at least enjoy the journey!

Wow--you mention the word "planning". So many experienced business people are so guilty of not planning. I plan and achieve goals, and then I get impatient and go off in another direction. I have friends who stick with one thing, get "known" in that "thing" and do well.

I asked a successful friend once, what his secret was, and he said, "I've had the same phone number for 25 years!". That summed it up.

Get on the phone and call The Small Business Association. Also give your bank a call. They can lead you in the right direction. Make sure you have a valid plan for the money you want.

You don't even have to come up with anything new. If you have an improvement over an existing idea, that could do as well. It does take a creative mind to come up with new solutions to people's needs.

And sometimes, if you are lucky, you can become a quick millionaire overnight if your solution goes viral. Note that this is only possible now because of the Internet and social networking.
