Want to Make More Money Then Don’t Focus on Money

Updated on October 30, 2010

Want to make more money for yourself and have the nicer things in life? Then don't focus on money. Money is a piece of paper, with pictures of accomplished men on it. But we need money to buy the stuff we need to live our lives. Whatever we want to buy, we need money. To create more money, don’t focus on money itself but on the things which indirectly results in money.

Money is the driving force in our society. The reason why we place so much importance on money is that, you can do or have many things when you money. With our talents and abilities we provide services, which will reward us with money.

Following are some of the things you can do to increase your capacity to earn more money:

More Money can buy material possessions
More Money can buy material possessions

Understand Money

All our lives we work hard to make money. Everybody wants to have more money. Some times we decide on our careers based on how much money we can make in that particular profession. We never really stop and think about what really money is. Money is merely legal tender, a form of exchange. We cannot buy some things with money. But unfortunately some times we place more value on the money than those things which are priceless.

Increase your value

One way to make more money is to increase your personal value. You become more valuable to the society by increasing your specialization in your field. Money is a shadow of our internal value. When you work on yourself and become so valuable with your knowledge and experience, money starts flowing towards you even if you don’t want it.

Be thankful for present conditions

Be thankful for the present conditions in your life doesn’t matter what your current situation is. If you are still breathing, you should be thankful to God. Do not compare with others who have more money or material possessions than you. That is a sure way to feel miserable. If you always complain and hate your present life but aspire to have more money and wealth, you are not appreciating what you have been given but you are asking for more.

Believe you can get whatever you want

There is no shortage in this universe for anything. You can have whatever the kind of riches you want including money. We put limitation on ourselves why we can have something but not the others. Our little minds cannot grasp how certain things happen which leads to the fulfillment of your desire objective. Do not use the word you cannot afford it.

Make list of things you want to have

Create a list of things you want to have in your life. Don’t worry about big or small or how much money and effort it takes. Write them on the paper so that you can see them regularly. Look at the images of the things you want to have and the places you want to visit. Images feed your mind with enough information to visualize it and eventually make it a reality.

Even though nobody teaches us how to manage money (for most of us), we have to deal with it on a daily basis. Share your experiences and understanding of money in the comments section below.
