Where to get Free Baby Things

Updated on August 9, 2017

Babies Cost Money

Having a child can be one of the most incredible times of your entire life, but it can also be one of the most costly. Baby items are notoriously expensive and they need to be constantly replaced because of growth and usage. But there are ways that you can get some baby stuff for totally free.

Free Sample Sites

Free samples are available for so many products online, but nobody has the time to go trawling the internet for every free sample available! But the wonderful people at the free sample sites have done all of the hard work so you don't have to.

They have found all of the free samples and put them together on their site so that all you need to do is enter your details and wait for the free samples to arrive. There are so many different sites to choose from, and some will have different samples to others, so join as many as you can.

Free samples of baby items are always available, so just go for as many different samples as you like!

Baby Clubs

So many stores and sites are now jumping on the baby club bandwagon and this is a good thing for customers because they usually offer free samples, items and money off coupons if you join! Registration and membership should always be free, never pay to join a baby club. Search online for available baby clubs in your country and see what great things they are offering.

Craigslist and Gumtree

Many parents know how expensive it is to raise a baby and they will quite happily give away their old baby stuff for free. Keep an eye out for people giving away stuff in your area. Always clean it first and make sure it is safe, but for the most part you can get some valuable baby items for free from a kind stranger.

Friends and Family

If you have friends and family with children, ask if they have anything that they would otherwise be throwing away, there is no point in letting it go to waste!

Grants and Benefits

If you are struggling to meet the cost of having a baby, look for whatever grants or benefits will be available to you. You can get help with the cost of a lot of things and it can really help to ease the financial strain.

Having a baby can be very expensive, and nothing will make it free, but there are things that you can do to help keep the costs down a little.
