Making Money Online With Redgage

Updated on January 23, 2013

Recently I posted my review about RedGage, where I spoke about my initial impressions and experiences using the site to promote my website. For those unfamiliar with RedGage: it’s a social bookmarking service where you can share your blogs and/or websites, or post unique blog posts, documents, photos and links. I initially found out about this site when I was looking into ways to create backlinks for my website.

What interested me the most about RedGage, is that you aren’t required to write specifically for this site, you can simply upload the links to posts that you’ve already created on other sites. If you are trying to drive traffic to your blog, it’s a great tool for finding new readers, and as I already mentioned it’s useful for creating backlinks. For example, I have written several hubs here on Hubpages, and I simply posted the links onto RedGage. That’s all I did! I took the links from the articles I had written, and I posted them in one easy step. It’s a great way for people to find your work, people that might be interested in a topic that you wrote about, that might never have stumbled onto your article otherwise. Isn’t that neat?

Now here is the best part: RedGage offers you incentives to post on their site. They pay you a percentage of their ad revenue. Sure it’s a very small amount, but it can add up. For example I posted a link to a Hub I wrote about the Hunger Games movie. I received a few cents in my balance just by posting that link. Not only that, but every time you have an article featured on their homepage, they give you a revenue bonus. My article on the Hunger Games was featured on their homepage, so I too received a small bonus. This is all from simply uploading my link to their site. You can write articles and then load them up on to RedGage and get paid to do it. I think that’s a pretty good deal!

The site is also a lot of fun, it’s great finding people who have the same interests as you. You can rate their posts and comment on their uploads and the entire process is interactive and rewarding. I love taking photos, and with this site, I get to share some of my photos with the rest of the community, get feedback and make new friends along the way. The RedGage community is very helpful and supportive. I feel that the site blends well with Hubages, I can continue to write my Hubs and balance my time well between the sites.

If you are interested in joining RedGage, you should definitely check it out here. It’s free to join and if you click on the link, you and I can be friends too! If you already have a RedGage account, feel free to add me. I have the same user name here as I do on RedGage: TheKatsMeow. I would like to add that since I am still a new user to their site, my experience might be different than that of other, more seasoned users. I would love to hear what other users have to say about their experiences with RedGage.

Thanks for reading!

I have used RedGage a lot, but I can't say I love it since the site is so full of bugs and it is hard to work with. They have a new site up now that is much more graphics oriented and they are supposedly working on getting rid of the bugs, so the site works better. But we shall see. The owners of RedGage don't seem to be in any hurry to fix their site. I like it when it's working.

BTW - After a 3 or 4 month pause as the new site was rolled out, RedGage is showing Account Balance info again.

The site is slow quite often, but I also like it. It is great if you love sharing photos and there are some lovely photos there if you like to view as well! Plus some extra traffic is always welcome :) !

I have been using RedGage for about 4 months. I have links to most of my hub there, but the people seem to be more interested in photos instead of links. I am still using it although their site seems to have quite a few technical problems. I have got some traffic from there, so some is better than nothing. I have found there are quite a few hubbers on this site. I will look for you there! Great hub! Voting up and sharing. :)

I was not familiar with RedGage at all. This was very useful for just explaining what the site is about. I recently began a new blog so once I get several posts going I will look into this to build some links. Voted up!
