When I hear of someone who practices "frugal living" I think they are the type of person who would not (waste money) on things they don't need or would not use. They would do without cable television, a cell phone, or a car if at all possible. I see them as likely to be "Minimalist". (One suit, two pairs of shoes, aware of all discouts). The only thing they are interested in is saving MONEY! :-)
Hoarders on the other hand seek to fill up an emptiness they have within themselves. Much of what they acquire is seldom if ever used by them. It's not uncommon for many them to have bad credit due to overspending. I think of hoarders and frugal people as being complete opposites in life style choices.
