Check out the cover of the current Forbes Magazine with Sara Blakely on it. She is the founder of Spanx (http://www.spanx.com/home/index.jsp), a new age girdle. She started her company with an idea and $5000 of her own money. It isn't even a high tech electronic product.
Why is she on the cover of Forbes? It is the issue of billionaires. At age 41, Sara Blakely is the youngest woman to ever have made their list. She is one of the richest 1,226 people in the world!
Does she deserve it? Sure she does. She created a product that obviously a lot of women want and employs a lot of people to provide it to them. From what I can tell, she did not 'get' her money at the expense of others nor did she deprive anyone of necessities or luxuries. By providing jobs, she probably provided more people with income for necessities and luxuries.
Welcome to America. Hard work can get you ahead. It is not for others to decide how much you deserve regardless of how much money you have. It has nothing to do with having more money than you need.
Congratulations Sara, the World's Youngest Female Billionaire. Live your dream.
I hope someone reading this will be the next Sara (or Sam, as in Walton).
