i was very vested in fiverr last year and did make more than a couple of hundred dollars. the trick is finding clients that consistently give you jobs for the work being done. they may have one job posted, but give you work for months to come.
you do have to "chase" the work, but if you find the right clients you could do very well. market and promote yourselfmake certain you put your best foot forward on everything you do and always keep your credibility in good standing. when great work is provided the word will spread.
you may even get cold calls to do writing. networking happens among clients just like freelancers. they may have business connections that need work done and refer them to you if your work is great.
