    Do you prefer to go to shopping malls or to independent shops? Why?

    Do you like shopping malls and spending sometimes a full "shopping day" inside them, by doing shopping or simply looking at the items, or do you prefer independent shops you find on the streets? Why?

    I love shopping malls because I'd rather hit a lot of stores in one day rather than go to an independent store.

      Good,  I also love shopping malls! I consider both solutions,  however having sometimes a full day at a shopping mall is really enjoyable for me

    I prefer shopping malls because of the variety.  If I don't find an item in one store, there are usually other stores that carry the item.  Also shopping malls contain restaurants which is very convenient so I don't have to go hopping miles to a restaurant.  Shopping malls are really a godsend.

    I avoid malls because of the temptation to buy what I don't need. I go to the store when I need something, to minimize impulse purchases. Or the impulse purchase is a soda and/or cookie, not $100 extra in another store.
