Amazon Earnings Not Updating?

   Anyone else noticing Amazon hasn't been updated since the 18th?  Or is it just me?

      Same here, have seen them delay by an hour or two before but never for this long.  Sure it will come through soon.

   Hey my account is set up so that I get amazon gift cards...and I got one the other day despite showing NOTHING in sales this month, or last month.  I think they must be making some errors somewhere.

      Yep, the Amazon bookkeepers often get things screwed up.  I wonder if it has to do with the codes being changed so often from HP's to ours.  Try selling $1500 worth of items and never finding out what happened to them.  No returns, no refunds, no nothing.  I don't trust any of the affiliate programs to be accurate anymore.  Now, it's a crap shoot!

         I have, of course, made more with amazon....but I've been using them a hell of a lot longer.....

            Well Wesman, after selling well over $1000 in Ebay items and receiving only pennies in return for items which would have netted me at least $50-$60 from Amazon, I have tried to eliminate Ebay from competing with the Amazon products by remving all of the Ebay capsules from my hubs.
            
            You do realize SOMEONE is getting a commission on your sales while you get a few cents instead.  I feel it is a rip-off and if Amazon starts this silly system I'll take them off too.

                  HA!  Like many others here, I kept waiting to get a payment for the very long list of items sold--one around $600--only to find out we make NO commission as we do on
                  Amazon.  If you sell enough items and frequently, they add another penny or so to each page view to a hub with Ebay products on them.  In other words, the same item I woud have made $60 in commission for on Amazon only netted me a few cents on EBay.
                  
                  Obviously, either HP or someone else makes the lion's share of the commission on the sale while we simply get the shaft.    I advise no one to use the crummy EBay affiliate if there are Amazon products which will fit the subject.  And there usually are.  At any rate, I refuse to sell products for such a crummy deal.
                  
                  I hope you didn't plan on getting a big check from Ebay or HP any time soon, Wesman?

                     Well I'm not aware of having sold anything - the only way I know how is to check the stats at the top of every hub.
                     
                     I just see clicks, and if someone bids on something (typically a guitar) then I get a commission just from them bidding, no not much - but if the price gets driven up due to some bids, I make a tiny bit.
                     
                     Sales?  I'm not aware of any big ones.  I recall having sold some minor bits of ... souvenir with ebay in the past, nothing significant enough for me to recall what it was.
                     
                     Obviously though, I'm going for guitar sales with ebay.  I'd think I'd get a pretty nice bit from a sale of a nice one, but I do need to investigate it all more.
                     
                     I dang sure never sold anything that significant with amazon, and who would buy a brand new Martin, or something like that online anyway?  I just think the chances are way better for selling something like that with ebay.....but of course I make money from the upwards bidding too.

                        You can check your sales on the account page, Wesman.  And even if you did sell an expensive guitar it would only raise your clicks a few cents for a while, whereas the same sale on Amazon could net you a couple hundred bucks possibly.  I once sold a batch of Kindles--30 if I remember correctly--which netted me almost $200 in commission on Amazon. 
                        
                        Many are confused about how Ebay pays.  And for good reason too!

                           Hell I just found it....I feel like a total tard for never seeing the sales reports thing before.  It says I've sold roughly $373 bucks worth of stuff.
                           
                           Yeah, I'm not seeing what my commission is there, but at least now I know where to look...the exact hubs, that is.

   With lower Hub traffic, my Amazon clicks have been low this month. but I have seen stagnation for the last week. According to my Amazon account, I am running 107% conversion rate for the month. Generally I run about 15%.

      Yep, the lower traffic certainly has a bearing on sales this month at a time my sales usually are picking up for the summer.  Just another nail in the coffin it seems.

   On the Amazon discussion forums the admin have announced an unexpected delay(duh) but also no predicted time of the reports being updated either.  Hard cheese for us, I suppose!

      If you are asking me, then my numbers were wrong....I've sold several multi thousand dollar guitars, apparently the profit for ebay, hubpages, and me to split was $373....or which I got not very much.
      
      I think I'm going to reconfigure my hubs for more amazon now.

         And you won't get a check for your share either, Wesman.  they have some screwed up system of paying you a few cents at a time for clicks instead of the at least $223 you would have received if it had been an Amazon sale.  Only HP and Ebay are coming out on the good side and you are getting the pennies.  And even this is a gamble unless you keep making sales. 
         
         Personally, I think it's a waste of time and money unless you can't make pennies another way.

            I saw my ebay daily totals heading to around fifty cents per day for a bit...so I produced all those guitar hubs real quick like to see if I could increase it still...since then, it's petered off to not much of anything.
            
            Some of those odd ball guitar things I'd not get an amazon match with, but I can get the closest thing to it from amazon, and that is what I'm going to do.
            
            I tried the first two years here to sell a guitar with amazon...that hasn't happened yet....is why I started doing the ebay thing.  Oh well...I will shorten the ebay and add amazon though.

               I found out the hard way when I had the same two air conditioners advertised by both Amazon and Ebay.  Instead of the 45 bucks I'd been getting for the Amazon A/C sales, the ebay sale only netted me a few cents more per day for a few days and then faded away.
               
               Sorry, but HP is making out like a bandit on the Ebay sales and Homey don't play that!
