I Want Free Stuff

Updated on September 15, 2011

You Need Free Stuff, Baby

Searching online for free stuff is probably the third most popular Internet activity. Websites pop up like mushrooms under a mushroom canning factory, offering desirable items at little or no cost. Here are some great ways to get free items off the 'net at little or no charge. We've done the research: just kick back and enjoy the fruits of our labor.

Free merchandise for babies, children, teenagers, young adults, adults, grown-ups, mature humans, and senior citizens can be found online every day of the week and twice on weekends. Some web sites ask little in return: you may have reveal your cell phone number, your email address, or your credit card number. Free isn't always completely free, but sometimes the thrill of the hunt makes it all worthwhile.

Vicks UV 99.999% Germ Free Humidifier

Humid air is wonderful in the Winter months. It holds heat more efficiently and it just feels more comfortable. Humid air fraught with germs tends to be yucky, however. Mold, mildew, and unpronounceable contagions could be lurking and breeding in your humidifier: this precision product from Vicks operates in a virtually germ-free state to keep you and your family comfortable all Winter.

An ultraviolet chamber zaps germs before they escape into your atmosphere. A hefty water reservoir holds up to 24 hours of liquid that can be transformed into a comfortable gas at the flick of a button.

Roads get built - your GPS needs to keep up. No one wants to trust an out-of-date GPS database when it's a dark and stormy night in a strange city. This state-of-the-art Global Positioning System gloms onto your dashboard or your passenger and provides miles of free advice. You'll probably never drive into a river again. An easy to use 5" touchscreen interface communicates with you.

Artsmith, Inc. Men's Embroidered Jacket Live To Ride Free Eagle and Motorcycle

Riding free is the goal of all riders. No one wants to pay for gasoline, oil changes, and toothbrushes. The toothbrushes are to get those little bugs out of your teeth: riding free may be freeing, but it tends to get messy around sundown.

Swathe yourself in this riding jacket to announce to the world that you plan to go gratis. Show those poor souls stuck in the Family Truckster how free you really are.

Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Whole Grain, Rolled Oats

Some folks get really sick after eating food containing gluten or even cooked in the presence of gluten. Those preferring a gluten free diet have no interest in cheap or even free gluten. They simply eschew gluten regardless of parsimony. This particular brand of gluten-less oats is grown with great care in fields dedicated to oat-growing.

Cook up some baked goods and serve them to people in your life craving baked goods free of gluten. Order several bags so your larder never lacks ingredients to which gluten-free consumers are partial.

If you plan to solder, solder with lead-free solder.

Lead-Free Solder

Soldering experts agree: soldering with lead-free solder is preferable. Stock up on this crucial component of good soldering in 5 foot increments. It's curled up into a convenient tube that tucks easily into a shop apron or a tuxedo (if you're a secret agent who plans to break into an evil scientists' lair to perform clandestine soldering.)

You will also need a soldering iron, flux, sandpaper, and solder sucker. These items are rarely free, so they will not be discussed in great detail at this juncture.

Conclusion

These articles are not free. I'm not writing any more unless you people start buying stuff.
