Scholarship for Flight Training

Updated on November 3, 2012

Want to learn to fly but strapped for cash?

At today's cost of flight training, it would take $10,000 to get a Private Pilot Certificate

For most people, the toughtest part of earning that certificate is getting to solo an airplane. Getting to this stage takes about $3,000.

Students who solo are more likely to finish their training. So, I've created a campaign to fund a $3,000 Scholarship for someone to solo for the first time.

The Gift Of Flight

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to fly an airplane? Many people dream of learning to fly, but most people never get to. In the past, many pilots got their flight training through the military, but what if you don't want to go that route?

Flight students today come out of school with massive amounts of debt (hundreds of thousands of dollars), all for the dream of being a pilot.

One has to be passionate about aviation to take on such an challenging career.
