A Golden Opportunity for the President

Updated on February 3, 2019

Antoine is in the Kitchen

Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Sunday, February 3, 2019. Our French friend, Antoine, is at the stove preparing Chocolate Croissants for our enjoyment. I will be preparing French Martinis to add to the joy. Antoine has been thinking about President Trump's upcoming State of the Union Speech. He has a few suggestions for the President. The nation needs to hear the truth about the state of our union. Please join us for breakfast and a chat. We hope to see you soon.

Invited to Hear the Truth

Thanks so much for joining us this morning. When President Trump addresses the nation on Tuesday, the American people will have an opportunity to hear the truth about our nation. Under the president's leadership much has been accomplished. Those that are glued to the lying mainstream media won't have a clue about any of this. The media has been hard at work burying the truth. Their goal is to keep Americans stupid and blind. They are experts at distorting the news, omitting the news and lying about everything. If those that put themselves in the Trump hating category can sit still long enough to get the facts, it might be quite an eye opener. I am not deluding myself that many will have an epiphany about Trump, but the truth must get out.

A Chance for a Homerun

I would love to see President Trump standing in front of Gold Star Families, families of those who lost loved ones at the hands of illegal aliens, border patrol agents, steel workers, small business owners and minority citizens who have seen their lives improve in the last two years. I think he must outline the accomplishments of his administration that have taken place over the last year. For many listening at home, this may be the first time they hear about any of these big wins.

The President's revocation of the disastrous Iran Deal was the right thing to do. President Obama sold out our nation when he gave them money that ultimately would be used against us. Intelligence confirmed that Iran's so-called promise to build power plants was a farce. If Democrats have a problem with this, they need to have their heads examined.

President Trump moved the Israeli embassy to Jerusalem, a feat that other president's promised but never kept. Trump stood up to radical Islamist groups and did the right thing. To those Dems who have a problem with this, I say your refusal to support Israel is an outrage. Israel is our ally, and a great one at that.

I want to hear President Trump talk about our defeat of ISIS. He said he would destroy their caliphate, and he did it. To the Dems who have a problem with this, I have to question your allegiance to our nation.

President Trump has shored up production of oil in our nation. We really don't have to depend upon foreign oil, and that puts us in a great position in the face of potential threats from abroad.

Black and Hispanic unemployment rates are down, drastically down. Democrats have talked about accomplishing this very thing for years, but have consistently come up empty handed. If the Dems can't appreciate this accomplishment, those that put them in office should think twice before they put them in office again. In fact, if they want to see their communities thrive they should kick every Dem out of office. They never come through for their constituents.

Trump's decision to pull out of Syria and Afghanistan is a good thing. Seventeen years of war is too long. There are other ways to protect the innocent without offering up our young men and women over and over again. Those who want to see our soldiers constantly in harm's way, should volunteer their own loved ones to fight a war that will rage on for eternity.

President Trump said he was going to get our nation a new NAFTA deal and he did just that. If the Dems have a problem with a win for America, perhaps they should relocate to Mexico or Canada.

Everything outlined here is a win-win for our nation. Anyone who can't see this and appreciate this is blinded by hatred for the man and indifference to our citizens.

Good People Needed

Before the president closes his speech, I would like to hear him address the need for a border wall. I think he must stress the duplicity of Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer. Pelosi said that she would negotiate with Trump only after he opened the government. The shut-down ended and Pelosi's fake promise was revealed. She never intended to give Trump a dime for the wall. Once upon a time she was in favor of a wall. That was before Trump became President. Her hatred for our president is akin to that of a rabid dog. Her contempt for the security of American citizens is evident. We let in more immigrants than any other country in the world. What we don't want are criminals. Pelosi lives behind a wall. I suggest she tear it down, lest its presence label her and the wall as immoral. The Dems refusal to negotiate in good faith must be emphasized. This is the president's chance to show that walls work and that Dems don't. The American people want the wall. I believe President Trump will deliver it one way or the other.

A Chance to Shine

I am anxious to hear the State of the Union Speech. I am not at all looking forward to hearing the rebuttal of the Dems. No doubt it will be couched in lies and distortions. That is par for the course these days. The good news is that they can't interrupt the president during his speech. America deserves to hear from the president, and that opportunity is worth waiting for.

Antoine's Song

Let's go children of America

The day of reckoning has arrived

Against you tyranny's ugly flag is raised.
