A Greater Need for the House Church Concept: God bless we poor

Updated on February 25, 2012

Worship in Peace, where you are.

Where ever you are: worship

The universe offers you time and space, to worship where ever you are. There is this problem that one gets the impression that one has to go to church to worship effectively. When, in actuality, one does not have to go anywhere, in order to worship. One can worship where ever one finds the place to worship.

This is a simple concept, not deep, not complicated, not profound. I learned this concept from living in Japan for 4 years, and seeing the beauty of nature, everywhere, I came to the realization that all Nature is God's sanctuary, and all Nature exists, everywhere. I had been taught by Western civilization that a sanctuary was "a sacred place, such as a church, temple, or mosque. Living in Japan, for the first time, I learned that everywhere was sacred. I learned, in Japan, that every place, was "a sacred place."

You don't have to believe me, all at once, or even at all. It takes time, some times, to see the Light. See the little house, in one of my pictures, that is a dream house. It does not look like a dream house. But it is a dream house. "Love grows there." It is a sanctuary. When the rain comes, and the wind blows, and the rain keeps coming, and the wind keeps blowing, and the water rises, and the rain keeps coming, and the wind keeps blowing, noting happens inside the house to disturb the Peace inside of the house. Love keeps growing inside of the house. And Peace continues to exist inside of the house.

In one of the pictures in this hub there is a lady. Look at the smile on her face. See the Love and Peace that shines on her face. Can you see, that by living in the sanctuary of the house, the house, that is a sanctuary, that exists in an environment, that is a sanctuary, that she has Love, Joy, Peace and Happiness. All of these things, she has, in a way, "that goes way beyond any Human Understanding. You see, you don't have to live in a big house to have Peace. You don't have to possess a lot of money to have Peace. All that you have to have is Peace, in order to have Peace.

How does one have peace. One has peace by relaxing, "chilling out," if you will, and realizing that Peace does not cost you anything. One cannot purchase Peace. This whole concept goes far beyond any Human understanding.

Allow me to say this. I can't tell you how to find Peace, Joy, Happiness and Love. You will find these things when you find them. But I can tell you this. Trust me. Read me. Study me. And believe in me, and you will find these things. Because, if you do not give up on me, and will continue to try to understand what I am saying you, you will find your Peace. Not because I am so great, or that I am God's gift to the world. Actually, I am not God's gift to the world. I am, simply, just me. As Emily Dickinson said so well, in her most favorite poem of mine, "I'm nobody." Emily Dickinson, who lived in this world from 1830 to 1886, lived for only 56 years, but she wrote more than 1,000 verses of poetry. She became famous, but she realized, that in the grand scheme of Life, she was no different, or no better off, than anyone else, but this was good enough.

One can have Peace, Love, Joy, and Happiness by being "Nobody," in the grand scheme of things, just like Emily Dickinson.

"As you go, Peace." Dr. Haddox
