A Story Squasher?

Updated on May 27, 2011

You're Paying For This Now Too America

It seems the head Whine House Tweeter has grown wings and flown over to a new tax payer funded department where he can rule the roost. His name is Jesse Lee and he has quite a progressive pedigree. For you Democrats out there who don't realize it Obama is a progressive and not just a liberal. His new title is "Director of Progressive Media." So I guess now Obama wants to direct the left wing media organizations. Isn't that special.

The little lady pictured to the left of Jesse in the photo above is his wife and her resume may be more impressive than Jesse's. Her name is Nita Choudhory and she is also a progressive activist to the hilt. Lets blend the two of them together in this Hub so you have a clear picture of reality.

Nita, who obviously has Jesse's ear, led the Moveon, org against the war in Iraq. Her claim to fame there was smearing General Petraeus, who is an American patriot doing his duty to his country. That's the ad created by Moveon that labeled the General as "General Betray Us." I think she should have been pointing that ad at Obama but that's just me. This woman is a first class paranoid. Along the way she has run Moveon's fund raising efforts for the 2008 election and is presently Moveon's campaign director for political action.

So who funds MoveOn one may ask? George Soros is the Sugar Daddy of MoveOn and of course we all know that Soros is in no way connected to Obama. He's only the "man behind the curtain" in all of this but that is just coincidental mind you.

So in April Nita marries Jesse. Somewhere buried in all of this is a Media Department in Tthe Whine House. That's where Jesse was Tweetering away. I guess that's the correct terminolgy since I don't "tweet," whatever that consists of. He's moving from that new media department to the Department of Communications. Man, it's like Obama has a whole under the radar cabinet operating in the background in Czarsville. Actually his entire new title, according to Dan Pfeiffer who is the Communications Director , will be "The Director of Progressive Media and Online Response." I think I'll stick to the old Minister of Propaganda tag that Goebbels wore for so long. He's going from wearing two hats to one hat according to Pfeiffer.

All this came out in a Huffington Post article. I do have a tendency to read a lot. The Huff and Puff's spin on this is as follows:

“The Obama administration has created and staffed a new position tucked inside their communications shop for helping coordinate rapid response to unfavorable stories and fostering and improving relations with the progressive online community.”

In layman's terms Jesse is a story squasher for the progressive media. If the line is unfavorable to Obama, then it's his job to stomp it out. Now I'm sure any red blooded American tax payer among us will admit that we should be paying people like this with our tax dollars in this time of budgetary crisis. Actually, if you don't find this reprehensible and absurd then the dots aren't connecting with you at this time.

But Jesse does have his papers to prove he is as progressive as the best of them. He's the guy who wrote a Whine House blog blasting Glenn Beck. Seems they don't like Glenn Beck being able to freely express his opinion as a commentator. He saddled up with the Democratic National Committee and his crowning moment in life was working as Nancy Pelosi's communications director. Oh boy!

Did you know that The Whine House now has an official Twitter account? Sure does and you can already find Jesse there spinning away at spreading misinformation, especially regarding Ryan's plan to reform Medicare, which by the way for you youngsters out there needs reforming before it goes bankrupt.

So here we are again spending tax payer dollars for nonsense. If Obama can't be reelected based upon his record, he wants to be reelected on his continued ability to spin and lie. If you are a Democrat then you need to ask yourself a rather serious question. Do you realize that the Democratic Party was hijacked by the Progressive Movement decades ago? Then ask yourself this, "Is that acceptable to you?" There is a distinct difference between being a liberal and being a progressive folks. The progressives are way over there on the far, far left and they desire that the federal government control every aspect of an American citizen's life whether you like it or not.

Remember this also as 2012 approaches. Obama claimed at the time he was running that he is a pragmatic centrist. Shortly after winning election he himself outed himself as the progressive he is and started using the word quite freely. By this move he's out there in the open where we can all see his agenda. That is, if you bother to open your eyes and remove your blinders.

'TWEET' that Jesse!

As Always,

The Frog Prince

FP - Good for you. Our representatives really need to hear the voters' opinion on this. I'm going to pass on the triumverate (Leahy, Sanders, and Welch), as I think it would end up in the "round file."

Stu - I've already addressed the issue with my elected representatives and so should every tax payer. This is nonsense and Obama wants to talk about cutting the budget? His kool aid crowd needs to put down the chalice and wake up soon. The man is only serious about getting reelected at anyone's and everyone's expense.

This shouldn't ever be a function of the Whine House but the whiners are in residence.

This whole thing is crazy. I can certainly understand why presidents need a press staff to address formal media inquiries, but why should the taxpayer have to fund a collection of bloggers to stand up for the president? This is at root a campaigning activity, and should be funded from the president's own reelection warchest. Americans who don't even agree with his policies are being forced to fund his own rebuttals.

Frog Prince, this is an awesome hub and I "graded" it that way. This is one of the best, if not THE best, "whistle-blowing posts" I have seen on this network.

And I am very glad that you pointed out the difference between mere liberals and progressives.

Froggy, I voted on this Hub, a BIG THUMS UP. I wish B.O. would use that as a sit down toy.

Here a Czar there a Czar, everywhere a Czar, Czar. And we pay for all of them! I have never hated a President , but I can't say that anymore.

I didn't know about this Czar, he's as bad as all the others.

      You eye opener, you. H

How long do you think it will be till the Obama administration starts tossing books into a bonfire in the White House backyard? Do you suppose the POTUS will appoint a book-burning czar just for the job?

My Grandmother was a proud Democrat. I think she is probably rolling over in her grave right now thinking about how the Democratic party has changed.

      Excellent Hub.

      Miss Info -

Your "name" is very misleading. It appears that someone using that moniker would be providing information - information not propoganda. Sadly, this is not true.

It's clear that you still don't "get it." What part of this Country don't you like? Or is it a general hatred of all things American? I know there are people like you - what I'd like to know is what benefits do you gain by living here? I'll bet you have police and fire protection. You have many newspapers and magazines to read. You can go on an uncensored (for now) internet, a car, a house, etc. etc.

If you don't enjoy the freedoms you have in this nation-fine. LEAVE! I hear Russia is looking for new citizens. I think you'd fit in better somewhere like that.

      Good day to you...

It goes like the Misinformation. I have nothing to defend from the likes of you, nor will I ever. What you read here are FACTS, not conjecture. If you come on my Hubs talking nonsense like a child, I will treat you like a child. Either come on a Hub, state logically any arguments or stay off the article all together.

It's called being off topic and is considered rude. Got it? If you fail to do so in the future, you won't read a word you type. Those are the rules and your discourtesy isn't ever appreciated by anyone.

Miss Info - Being your usual self, I can tell that you reading comprehension suffers dearly. Then you want to quote what I said? What exactly did I say?

I must say that your screen name needs a bit of tweaking, not tweeting, but tweaking. Try Miss Information out as your new moniker.

Thanks for stopping by and spouting nonsense though. CYA.

"Seems they don't like Glenn Beck being able to freely express his opinion as a commentator."

Wow, so you listen to Glen Beck, huh. Well that says a lot about you. Can I ask, "is your hood white or black"?

Do you not believe citizens - Republicans and Democrats alike - knew that people like you stood anxiously waiting to cast your first stone at Obama. In 2007, a friend and colleague of mine, who is an avid and die-hard Republican, told me point-blank "Good Luck ... Republicans are gearing up to give Obama Hell."

Aw-w, but they make such a cute couple!

You realize the answer, of course, the appropriate response to the Story Squasher: Burying him in stories to squash. Become enablers. See how long it takes for the little Czar's head to explode!

      Excellent job, Jim!!

Interesting that this little, inconsequential job in the whine house was kept from Joe Taxpayer until just recently. Seems as if this young man will be trolling all the speeches, tweets (I won't use it either) and ads out there in the upcoming 2012 election and making sure that people like you and me do NOT share the Progressive's ability to lie their heads off.

Compare and contrast the happy newlyweds - where on earth would a beautiful girl like her wed a geek like Jesse? Only in the furtherance of their Progressive agenda. (And I won't watch Glenn Beck - he's gone WAY over my comfort line.)

I further reckon that WE are paying this punk's salary which undoubtedly far exceeds ours. He's gotta go - as do all the Czars. Obanana has used the Czars to bypass the long established method of Senate confirmation. The first "adult" book I read was Alan Drury's Advise and Consent - I was 10. I've lost track of how many there are but I know it's more than all previous administrations put together.

As to Bill Ayers, et al, I'll bore you all again with that b@s1@rds affect on MY life. When the Weathermen decided that the University of Buffalo was doing nefarious things (we've never learned exactly what those things were) they blew up the science labs. Nice. No one was injured in this case, but we all know they are responsible for the deaths of many. So - when Ayers and company blew up UB, my parents, almuni of that fine University before it was eaten and became part of the State University of New York, thought we lived too close to the University and we moved within a month. (You could do that sort of thing before the State got involved (read more taxes) in real property transactions.) We moved about 5 miles into a new neighborhood which was a wonderful place to grow up-without the danger of being bombed by Ayers and pals. "But he's just my neighbor!!!" Right.

What was worse was that ignorant idiot Van Jones who had more ties to radical extremists than Ghengis Kahn. (I think he has another public sector job we're paying for.)

I wonder what obanana would feel about a Conservative on the Federal payroll using an office in the whine house? For some reason I don't think it's gonna happen.

Isn't his stupid? When you think about it, the right, and right center know the score with or without a spin, and the left would look the other way if this idiot got caught red handed stealing a car. Good work Jim.

Obama is in no way connected to Soros; just like Bill Ayers was just a guy in his neighborhood and once he figured out Revernd Wright; 21 years later, he left his church.

What will it take to wake up the American Public to this Regime?

As we found in the UK with Blair and Campbell spins and lies are the order of the day if you have your own hidden agenda.

Sadly goes on all the time but as long as you can keep the masses and great unwashed and intellects below 100 fed with trite TV pap then the so called brighter and better can get away with anything they set their concentrated minds to.

nicomp - Soros has a big stake now in at least 30 media outlets and counting at present. Now he also has a Minister of Proganda to orchestrate the attacks.

What in the world is our country becoming should be the question on people's minds and not who won Dancing With The Stars or American Idol.

2012 will be a hoot. Repubs will be fielding at least one woman, probably two. The Dems are hating life because they can't publicly 'campaign' yet against their incumbent while the Repubs consume air time on all the cable news networks. is loading up to hate on Newt Gingrich while trying to convince us they are not privately funded by George Soros. Let the fun begin!
