Supermodel to scientist, women's top salaries

When I originally started this hub it was to exploit the fact that you have to be a supermodel to succeed in making the big money. As it turns out there are quite a few successful women out there who are super not only in beauty but brains and back account. Fortune 500 and provides some listing of the wealthiest women

 Supermodels are one of the highest paid jobs around.  Comparable to an athlete they get millions of dollars for little hours of work.  Oh no I am not putting them down  I know it is constant work to keep your body in shape.  Maybe it is society to blame for what we consider important.  Let me explain.  I decided to compare some salaries to see where we stand.

Salaries of Professional Women

Supreme Justice Sonja Sotomayor Just over 200,000 per year

Susan Decker CFO of Yahoo. com makes 24.3 Million according to Fortune Magazine

Suzanne Nora Johnson, Vice Chairman of Goldman Sachs makes $23.1 million

Susan Desmond-Hellmann, President, Product Development at Genentech takes in 17.1 million per year!

Top five supermodels and annual salary

5. Alessandra Ambrosio: $6 million

4. Adriana Lima: $6 million

3. Heidi Klum: $8 million

2. Kate Moss: $9 million

1. Gisele Bundchen: $33 million

 The Highest paying jobs for women are Careers in technology Medicine, Engineering., law and Financial counseling.  No mention of supermodels hmm..

The Median salary for a professional in Medicine is $135,725

 The Median Salary for an IT consultant  is $70,492

The Median Salariy for a laywer is 69,696

 and the median Salary for an Engineer is $62,427

Meet the Wealthiest woman in the World

 Abigail Johnson is her name.  Today June 17, is apprently her first day on the job as CEO of FIdelity Investiments  She oversees 650 billion dollars in assests.  She alone is worth 8.5 billion dollars.  Today she filled her fathers shoes!

Runners Up!

Next on the list of the world's richest ladies is Christy Walton, who is worth $20 billion. She is the wife of the deceased Sam Walton, founder of Wal-Mart.

Her Daughter Alice Walton is third at an estimated 19.5 Billion

Fourth is Loreal Heiress Liliane Bettencourt, who is worth $15 billion.

What do all these Ladies have in common? They inherited their money.

      Ms Chievous, where are the Holliwood chicks? Jolie, Julia Roberts, Demi Moore, Nicole Kidman and all that gang?  Aren't they worth a bunch?

      On inhering money, I think that happens to dudes, too, just that's kinda taken for granted, successory lines and all that jazz :)
