97% of Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere comes from the oceans and plants.

Fact 4
Greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere are made up of 90% water vapour, 4% Carbon Dioxide, 4% methane, 2% fluoride compounds and nitrous oxide.

Fact 5
Top estimates put water vapour as high as 95% of greenhouse gasses of this 95% 99.999% is natural and not attributed to man-made causes.

Fact 6
Carbon Dioxide accounts for 0.04% of the earth's atmosphere.

Fact 7
Man-made Carbon Dioxide is only 0.117% of the total Carbon Dioxide in the air and contributes 0.0047% of Carbon dioxide total in the atmosphere.

Fact 8
Reducing Man-made Carbon Dioxide by 30% in accordance with the Kyoto Protocol has been estimated to lower earth's temperature by 1/20th of 1 degree by 2050 a negligible effect..

Fact 9
Most of the global warming trend of the last 150 years occurred before 1940 the period since is by enlarge when human activity increased its Carbon Dioxide production from smoke stacks and auto-mobiles.

Fact 10
The net global warming since 1940 is a tiny 0.2 degrees C.

Fact 11
There has been no acceleration since modern global warming began in 1850.

Fact 12
Between 2007 and 2008 global temperatures dropped between 0.59% and 0.75% degrees C virtually enough to offset the entire global warming of the last century this despite increased levels of Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere.

Fact 13
This came after nine years of none global warming since 1998 which was a direct contradiction to IPPC forecasts.

Fact 14
Past global temperature records show no historical correlation between temperature levels and Carbon Dioxide despite the claims of Al Gore and the IPPC.

Fact 15
Carbon offsetting does not work, trees release all their Carbon Dioxide when they die the net effect is negligible.

Fact 58
Studies show that a doubling of Carbon Dioxide levels doubles leaf water efficiency allowing plants to grow more successfully in more arid climates.

Fact 59
As Carbon Dioxide concentrations increase even higher in years to come nearly all plants should be able to grow where it is currently too dry for them to do so, enabling the most drought resistant species to reclaim lands previously lost to desertification.

Fact 60
Greater vegetation cover will reduce the adverse effects of soil erosion caused by wind and rain.

The worlds 25,000 polar bears live in 20 distinct population groups an increase of 5,000 from the 1960s. Most of the population groups are stable with two groups growing in population and two groups in decline. The two groups that declining are in areas where temperatures have fallen, the thriving groups are in areas that have warmed.

I love all of your ideas. Now, I'm new to the global warming fact thingy's, but looking at the idea that the ocean is getting colder: It makes sense that it would get colder, the ice is melting and pouring into the ocean. (that's one example).

I haven't been on this site before this, so not sure how it all runs. But it looks as if, like me, you aren't for what these scientists say. I will for sure be looking at this site for other stuff too.

So much of this shows a profound ignorance of how science works. Science does not produce certainty - it makes observations, constructs theories, and then does everything it can to disprove those theories. If that turns out to be impossible, then the theories stand and are accepted.

With climate change, this is the process that has been followed. Climate scientists continue to make thousands of measurements and have reached a high degree of certainty as to the trends of global warming and the reasons behind it. The fact that they cannot say precisely what will happen in future does absolutely nothing to invalidate their basic arguments.

Also if greenhouse gasses have such an effect on global temperature how do you explain the fact that Global temperatures are essentially the same today as they were in 1995, when atmospheric carbon dioxide levels were merely 360 ppm. Atmospheric carbon dioxide levels rose 10 percent between 1995 and 2012, yet global temperatures did not rise at all. Global warming activists are having a difficult time explaining the ongoing disconnect between atmospheric carbon dioxide levels and global temperatures.

This isn’t the first time in recent years that global temperatures have disobeyed the models presented by global warming activists. From the mid-1940s through the mid-1970s, global temperatures endured a 30-year decline even as atmospheric carbon dioxide levels rose nearly 10 percent. From 1900 through 1945, by contrast, global temperatures rose rapidly despite a lack of coal power plants, SUV’s, and substantial carbon dioxide emissions.

While I agree with the natural cycles part of your comment I cannot agree with the merits of the statement well documented effects of greenhouse gases. They may be well documented but not well proven, we simply do not have the knowledge to account for the influence of greenhouse gasses check out fact 61 for example, or fact 37.

      Kind Regards

Your 'facts" put you among a tiny minority. The truth is that the climate at any given time is a product of natural cycles and well documented effects of greenhouse gases.

      Study these facts

      1. 10 percent of the Earth's magnetic field has declined in the last 100 years. Less magnetic field equals more solar radiation.

      2. The heat would begin at the poles and then become part of the World's weather.

      3. The core of the Earth in fluctuation breaks up creating its on fields as it drifts away from the poles towards the equator.

      4. Thermal imaging from satellites can actually track these areas from space. The largest area and growing is called the South Pacific magnetic anomaly. Compasses our off way off.

      5. These areas are seeing the most violent Earth quakes and volcanoes. Indonesia, New Zealand and Ice Land. Drought is also a factor. Australia the worst in hundreds of years, Central South Africa a hot spot being tracked and the list continues.

      6. Geologist back up this research and can find no evidence of a decrease in our magnetic field except during a Polar Shift. All heated material tells us of its magnetism to include lava and ancient pottery.

      7. The shifts historically occur every 200 thousand years but the last one happened 700 thousand years ago. They take around 3 thousand years to be sorted out. The connection to global warming has not been made and the implications are unknown. One thing is for sure is an increase in cancer rates and a decline in the ability to use electronic devices as EMP increases.
