Accountability of Nations

Updated on September 11, 2013

The Hypocrisy

A nation commits multiple and cruel human rights violations, The nation illegaly detains thousands of civilians without charge, they brutaly torture civillians until the people admit to crimes they never committed just so the evil stops. This same nation falsifies documents and manufactures evidence so they can invade another nation, then while they are there they gun down civvilians, bomb school children, weddings and infrastructure leaving the people in a stone age type of life. The soldiers of this brutal regime also kick in doors of houses killing families, they drive down streets shooting anyone that does not submit to them--I can go on and on about this regime.
One would think that this is a war mongering regime run by blood thirsty tyrants, wouldn't you? Would you not wonder why the UN, NATO and other countries are not stopping this brutal regime?
Well, this same country is now accusing Bashar Al-Assad of gassing citizens of his country--without any evidence!
Barack Obama and his people continue to say that Al-Assad must be stopped otr he will continue to gas his people and that he is a threat to American national security. But like I said, Obama has not proven at all that Al-Assad is guilty. But there is evidence that the rebel who are backed by AlQaeda and funded by the US have detonated chemical weapons.
Now, President Putin with his usual calm demeanour and common sense has asked Al-Assad to give up any chemical weapons he has, and he has agreed to do so.
However, Obama continues with his rant to attack, so I must believe that this has nothing to do with any form of weapons, but that Obama merely wants another warat any cost for any reason.
It is time that the US government be stopped and be held accountable for all the crimes it has commited.

Also, why does the United States not get rid of the stockpiles of WMD's it has? Why does the US think it can order others to get rid of WMD's while they themselves hold on to theirs? Hypocrisy! Hold the US to the same standards that they force on others. The US has no credibility whatsoever, this is because of this hypocrisy.
If the US wants to be taken seriously again, then they need to look into a mirror and judge themselves honestly.

This is what the US citizens are calling for, and so is the world.
No country, especially one that has commited multiple brutal crimes like the US has the right to attack anyone without evidence and without provocation.
Think about it and speak up. Stop this brutality!

Thank you for your comment. You are right, why now do we want to attack Syria? The US has done worse, as have other nations. No country is innocent. Too many questions and not enough answers. Are we in the end time? I think so. Nation will rise against nation.

Again, thank you for your comment.

Thomas, I was just thinking this morning while pouring a cup of coffee. What in the world is going on?

I watched CNN for about 15 minutes and that's all I could stomach of it.

So here's the thing People have been victimized all over the world for centuries, since the beginning of time.

Hitler gassed people and it took a long time for this country to go up against him.

I don't know much about the Syria thing. I did see some disturbing photos on television of the children suffering from lack of food.

But, why start war against Syria when many countries have had similar situations where we've stood back and done was never even reported on the evening news.

Nation will Rise Against Nation. I don't know if that is applicable here, but the Word is in my heart.
