America Needs To Be Shaken Not Stirred!

Updated on May 28, 2016

What is the real state of the Union?

Is America really that bad off? It depends on who you ask. If you ask the laid off coal worker, things are bad and it doesn't look like they are getting better soon.

if you ask the entrepreneur that just discovered a new solution and is raking in the dough, things are only looking up.

if you look at statistics put out by the government in office, all indicators are positive. Ask the opposing party, we are in doom and gloom.

i have sought a safe middle ground. Things are going good for me and they will get better as I go along.

However, I cannot brush aside the obviously:

@we are printing money like crazy and our currency has been devalued

@5 countries have abandoned our dollar as the world reserve currency

@17 cities in America are bankrupt

@we are down to two politicians who are not the most honest people in the world

@we allow illegal immigrants to come and suck off are already bankrupt system

With that being said, I believe it's time to shake up America!

Stirring vs Shaking

Every 4 years, America gets to stir. Political candidates come out for debates and spend millions of dollars just to stir the pot.

The winner has stirred the pot just enough and given you just enough hope that things will change, to win the election.

Then America goes back to sleep.

Politics as usual. Agendas carry on as planned. Change? Sure, we get change.

Over the past 8 years, we got the affordable care act. That sure was a change. Not for the better. I believe my mom said it best, "rob Peter to pay Paul". Enough said. It's a disaste, but it sure was a change.

Hillary Clinton changed her email server. oops. No problem. I like national secrets to be hacked by our friends.

we even talked about change. Changing the minimum wage. Took almost 8 years for Obama to do something. Oh, right before the election. Timing is key. Never mind people needed it 8 years ago.

Now it is time for America to wake up again, but this time, we have awoken to being shaken.

What does a shake up do?

Itbturns things upside down and all around. We get straight talk. Bold actions. Massive action.

Sounds great, right? Then why are we (not me) complaining??

Who is the stirrer?

I hope you may have guessed. Hillary of course!

Status quo Democrat. Stirring just enough to get elected. I mean, she believes she is a shoe in to start, but she still has to bring something to the table!

Up until Trump won the nomination, I believe she thought is was going to be an easy ride. Well now she has to do a bit more stirring. She will not do major changes because, in her mind, everything is just ok.

Email scandal, that will go away. Immigration, we can just print more money to take care of that.

Healthcare - done. Jobs, well those coal miners just misunderstood her!!

She's the stirrer. America will just go back to sleep if she is elected.

Enter the shaker

I sure hope you figured it out! Donald J Trump

A shaker is not tactful. A shaker says things in public that others say in private, but don't have the guts to say in public.

This is what has gotten America in trouble....in my mind anyway.

A shaker has simple solutions to what stirrers think are complex problems.

I live mostly in Australia. I just didn't waltz over the border and use all of their resources for free.

I had to pay to get residency their and pay taxes their. America just opens the gate and says sure, come on in. Plenty here. Joe taxpayer will pick up the tab!

Joe taxpayer is broke and America is printing funny money!

Trump says, build a wall. Oh my God! God forbid we protect our borders.

Americans are so far asleep, they will wake up one day and will not have a country.

Trump is shaking it up. It's the fault of the people that we are this far along. We have let the politicians ruin our country, now we are rioting against people who want to take it back. Go figure.

The time has come for America to be shaken, not just stirred.

I welcome your constructive comments.

Thank you lions44 for the comment. You actually hit the nail on the head when it comes to the majority of Americans! They need a savior. If they would stop looking for the government to solve their problems, they would be better off! Trump will naturally fall back on his strength (just like most people), but if he surrounds himself with the right people, he could do well. Only time will tell.

      Fun hub.

I don't think Trump is going to do a lot of shaking up. Just feel he will fall back on what he knows - negotiating; which is fine for an establishment guy life myself. But for those you who think he is a savior, I feel bad.
