America and Iran neuclear assets

Updated on February 3, 2011

Do we think or need to think that America SHOULD do something ABOUT Iran... after all Iran nuclear assets are considered a threat to the world. then why shouldn't America.

But both a are sovereign countries and both have the needs and means available to them to take care of their own problems. The second we start thinking in terms of one needing to take care of other's problems, we're asking for trouble. But being aware of your enemy's strengths and cognizent of their weeknesses is the first thing they teach in age old traditions of "The Art of War".

According to Sun Tzu (The ancient Chinese Art of War), "It is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle". So if we go by this philosphy, America will not stand a chance unless we get our geography and knowledge about Iran corrected.

There was a documentary by an Australian channel that asked everyday American simple questions about the world but the answers were funny if you're looking from entertainment point of view but scary if you look at it from an educational stand point or an alleged superpower. Hardly any of the respondents knew where exactly in the world Iran was, and yet they all agreed they Iran should be bombed and gotten rid of... I ask the question... how many of us really actually know the implications of a war with a country that we hardly know anything about.

In my view, before we start worrying about nuclear Iran, we should worry about what's more nuclear to us, that is our education system and the understanding of our common folks that has been hazed and blinded by Media. Sure every country has problems, Iran surely has their's but we certianly have ours as well.
