Are You Democrat or Republican?

Updated on April 11, 2016

I am conducting a research on the thought process behind party affiliation. There are two parts to the question mentioned in the title:
1) Are you a Democrat or a Republican (or Independent)?
2) Why Are You Democrat or Why Are You Republican or Why Are You Independent?
The second question must be answered in relation to the Party you belong to, not against the other Party.

  • Here is a BAD example: I am Republican because I don't like Democrat;
  • Here is another BAD examples: I am Republican because Democrats are bad.

The answer as to why you are Republican MUST be exclusively about the Republican Party.

Your participation (and encouraging friends to do the same) is greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your participation.

      I am also a democrat, and a social worker by profession. It is all about the people.

      I am a democrat, because I'm pro choice, I love diversity, and think gvt is for the people, not the business class.
