Benghazi Lies Within Truth

Updated on January 10, 2020

John D. Williams has written everything from articles to short stories, and even songs, going as far back as childhood. Writing is therapy.

Have we progressed so little as a nation? How one deals with slaughtered American Lives and the truths leading up to, and after terrorism shows its ugly head can surely be quite alarming. Those negatively affected by such acts are surely deserving of the facts, correct? Justice should be served to those covering up information which led to the deaths of four Americans In Benghazi, Libya on 9/11/2012.

At times I believe there to be one big controlling sect drenched in the blood of radicalism residing amongst us. Everything in regards to the politics behind Benghazi, be it crooked media or the corrupt party lines involved are all fine examples of the manipulation. I must confess, this goes far beyond partisan flaunting and/or pandering to a base.

Four! Count them, four Americans perished in this devilish attack by a Muslim Terrorist group. One with strong ties to Al Qaeda, according to insiders. The Americans killed on September 11th 2012, ironically enough, were Ambassador Chris Stevens— information officer Sean Smith— former Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty.

To be blunt, the White House appears to have lied, as well as changed documents here allowing these brave men to die without cause, and without meaning.

Americans, hell, human beings protecting our interests abroad were butchered. Sadly, many with clout dropped the ball from top to bottom by not allowing our soldiers to go in and assist when only 2 hours out. Yes, 2 hours according to one Gregory Hicks (the former Deputy Chief Of Mission inside Libya), himself, one of three whistle blowers willing to speak during hearings on Capitol Hill Wednesday (these hearings took place in 2013, for reference) regarding Benghazi. Also, Hicks was admittedly being threatened by those within the State Department at the time to keep quiet.

This acknowledgment directly opposes military protection being 12 hours away from the conflict, which is the information given out by the White House.

The other two men at the hearing being conducted by the House Oversight Committee and headed by Rep. Darrell Issa, were Mark I. Thompson, former Marine and now deputy coordinator of operations inside the agency’s Counterterrorism Bureau, and Eric Nordstrom, a diplomatic security officer who was regional security officer in Libya. Nordstrom believed that questionable actions during this period by extremists were being ramped up in the area. This led him to alert the State Department of such actions occurring.

Simply put, security was not up to par. Much of this coming out during the hearing, along with news outlets such as FOX and The Blaze reporting on prior security concerns. Some of this information has been touched upon in earlier hearings involving those attached to this huge mess.

Former Secretary Of State Hillary Clinton was also grilled on Capitol Hill earlier in 2013, all in regards to what she knew involving the attack. Mrs. Clinton was to testify in December of 2012, but a head injury prevented her from doing so at the time.

So, we as Americans are now still left with many questions:

Who gave the stand down order?

Who changed the documents 12 times (according to ABC news sources) to manipulate talking points, all coinciding with the American people mislead into believing this was not a planned terrorist attack? Why?

Also, why has Mrs. Clinton spread false rhetoric regarding this incident to families who lost loved ones in the attack, and the same goes for President Obama? They even committed such at the funerals for these brave men.

Did any of these results along with an abundance of misinformation coming forward have anything to do with this administration running weapons to Syrian rebels, via Libya? That is a discussion currently going on in many circles, also among today’s media pundits.

Why was President Obama campaigning for re-election immediately after this event in places such as Las Vegas instead of doing his job first, and foremost?

Finally, why on earth was an Anti-Muslim YouTube video pushed forth on the American populace, with what now can only be seen as a mock protest regarding said video? This was to be seen as the culprit, the reasoning behind the attack, not Muslim terrorism. At least that is how it was perpetuated, and for weeks no less, all while being steadily fronted by U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice on every morning show she could book. Though, to a slightly lesser degree, Hillary Clinton too promoted these same talking points. Again I ask, why?

Who promoted these actions?

The Libyan Government called the rampage on the consulate a motivated terrorist attack from the get-go, not some random coup. With the U.S. trying to save face within that administration, and by coincidentally insulting the Libyan President at the very same time, we seemingly caused a 17 day gap banning the FBI from investigating this horrendous attack in a timely fashion. That could lead to a lot of tainted evidence along with misinformation there alone.

No people, this whole ordeal is not about partisan politics or a right wing "conspiracy." I shall quell that accusation which many politically slanted individuals are trying their hardest to drum up these days. Simply put, this is right and wrong. We have illegal actions taken, with propaganda being spewed onto the American people by our elected officials. Then, allowing four American heroes to die without honesty. Do not forget the other individuals that fought for their lives while the siege was taking place.

On a scale of 1 to 10 in regards to cover-ups, this is an 11!

The White House, plus any government agency for that matter should never be considered untouchable, be it the C.I.A., F.B.I., or even those on the ground in and around Benghazi. Again, any individual tied up negatively in this scandal should not only be outed, yet swiftly served Constitutional justice.

So here we are again, with many tainted individuals and biased news outlets alike all crying foul. These organizations are openly putting this on Republican revenge or right wing anger, all geared toward those continuing to question the events of that fateful day. To anyone paying only partial attention, you absolutely have to put aside your politics for one moment.

We in America must find those responsible. For reasons of closure to forward onto families, plus for the American citizen. The time has come to focus our attention on never allowing our Federal Government so much reign so they may lie, then commit these heinous acts again. All of this for political gain so as not to screw up an election year.

The sneaky, un-truthful actions here and by those involved are reprehensible, including the savage terrorists. Citizens deserve a better government entity representing them. State and local levels that run like this are usually quickly dealt with. The last 13 years or so of overbloated bureaucratic insanity has left Americans with more questions regarding Washington wrong doings than any other time in history.

Noble efforts are being taken up by many good people inside this great nation. Efforts to not only repair this country, but also her political ambitions, while preventing the lengths many will go to for controllong agendas. We are working to stop the propaganda, the indoctrination if you will, not encourage such.

Adding to this, I was trying so very hard to not get going on President Obama’s Press Secretary, Jay Carney. He is quoted as recently saying "That was a long time ago," responding to questions about the Benghazi attack. This man and his rhetoric speaks for itself, along with the high level of incompetence within the close circle surrounding President Obama.

Carney spews constant and chaotic misinformation. He does so for an administration known for the old bait-and-switch mentality. Of course, this is just an observation of mine, as well as many more like minded individuals. Though, Mr. Carney has been questioned by media for manipulating information on more than one occasion.

Unfortunately, most press secretaries have the job that most Americans would hate. This entails lying for their boss. However, Mr. Carney does so with such gusto and a "Who Me" demeanor. I too find his condescending way of dissecting questions very annoying, especially when pushing information out to the public that continues to surface daily. However, all of this information is very important and even a critical aspect to finding out the truth surrounding this ordeal, whether he means to be transparent or not.

This is where we sadly are today. Americans, from different backgrounds socially, economically, and even politically, we owe it to those dying for our liberty and fighting for American idealism to push through with questions. We citizens should be demanding answers to this terrible assault. Enough partisan politics and looking the other way. Lives are beginning to worsen abroad for Americans, while many issues continue to slump on the home front as well. This chaos is leading to much division amongst us citizens.

The time for the silent majority to awaken is now! We are due for real, positive change, not phony promises and false hope. Four Americans died! They died fighting justly against those with extreme views and hate toward the western world.

We inside this Republic owe them the truth.

Last comment 3 years ago? Do people even know about Benghazi, still?

Why isn't Trump speaking about Benghazi? probably the one thing that gives you insight into how Hillary will behave as commander in chief.

Ain't that the truth! But remember Obama has been re- elected so there is little reason to prop him up now like there was before the election. But give his "minnions" any straw of a reason to praise him again and they'll all fall off the wagon of sobriety which right now is carrying those aboard to the truth. The media and the democrats (dare I say many Republicans too) just can't stay sober for long.

In this case "things" will have to get worse to get better...nothing will be done to stop what this administration is doing to the country, the people, until it gets so bad that their lies, incompetence and disregard for the rule of law are so obvious that no excuses can be believed and to support the "Messiah" rises to the level of co-conspiring with crimninality. Let's hope"things"get worse.
