I AM A BELIEVER IN KNOWING WHAT YOU'RE DOING WHEN YOU APPLY FOR A JOB
JUNE 29, 2012
“Heaven and earth! -- of what are you thinking? Are the shades of Pemberley to be thus polluted?''
Man do I know how she feels...
This dialogue is a scene from Jane Austin’s Pride and Prejudice, a confrontation between Lizzy and Mr. Darcy’s very aristocratic aunt, Lady Catherine after she finds out her nephew has proposed to Lizzy.
It’s what I thought of today when I saw yet another shocking, yet somehow expected response from our POTUS on his Twitter feed.
It took me a moment to understand what Barrack was trying to say in this obvious moment of self-love and triumph with regard to the Supreme Court ruling. He was referring to Biden’s profanity when after signing the Health Care Reform bill, Biden whispered in the President’s ear, “This is a Big F_____ Deal.”
Why should it surprise me the President of the United States goes on his Twitter feed to gloat and promote T-shirts with a reference to this low-class, low rent profanity made by Biden? BO has polluted the shades of the Office of the President of the United States and he lacks the class and intelligence to know it.
Next thing you know, he’ll be touting T-shirts with “WTF” on the front!
Why should it shock me that the man who sits in the most powerful office in the world, should do something like this when he invites a group of his friends to the White House and they take pictures of themselves cavorting in front of Ronald Reagan’s painting “flipping off” the former President? Why does it still make me catch my breath when I see this man who lacks any decorum, class or even a vestige of intelligence, speaks about our fallen heroes and doesn’t even know the correct pronunciation of “corps?” The list goes on and on and on.
The decision by the Supreme Court didn’t upset me as it did so many of my like-minded compatriots. I found the Roberts decision to be in keeping with what the Supreme Court was formed to do and I believe the decision was carefully and meticulously thought-out. I haven’t read Robert’s entire forty-plus page summation, however I did gather this from his vote and what I have read to date: (I paraphrase here) it is not the job of the Supreme Court to make law or to overturn laws enacted by an electorate who placed men and women into office to make the laws (you dummies, vote more carefully next time, you’ve gotten what you deserve).
I believe he was saying also that Obamacare was enacted by a majority Democratic Congress and a majority Democratic Senate and a Socialist President. It was legally made and legally and constitutionally signed into law.
The Supreme Court’s job was to determine if all or parts of it were unconstitutional. The important part – regarding a penalty enacted by the Federal government with regard to the Commerce clause, was upheld. Thank God.
This is a message to those who voted a majority of Democrats into the House and Senate and then swooned over Obama and ushered him in as King.
Next time, know who you’re voting for and the consequences of your actions. Next time, don’t vote for someone because you think they’re “cool” or because they’re black and so are you or because my daddy voted Democrat, now I’m going to always vote Democrat or because I’m white and I feel so badly for the plight of blacks, or my friends are all voting for this person, so I will too…not one of those reasons is a good reason to vote for anyone in any elected office no less the most powerful position in the world.
If you can’t follow simple guidelines like KNOW WHO YOU’RE VOTING FOR then please, for the good of your country, stay home and never vote again.
While this isn’t my own thought, Mr. Obama was and is the perfect Manchurian Candidate – for those of you who can’t read without pictures but still voted for Mr. Obama – ask your mommy what that book was all about.
He was and is the most ill-equipped President in all of our history, and he knew it himself, when back in 2004 he was newly elected as an Illinois Senator. He said he was a believer in “knowing what you’re doing when you apply for a job” saying he wasn’t experienced enough and he needed time. He’s so ignorant, he can’t even listen to his own advice! How could an electorate have voted in someone who can’t follow his own good advice? The only advice or anything for that matter, this man has said or done, that has made sense.
While Barry gloats over his “victory” I predict this celebration will be short-lived. Pride comes before the fall as they say and this man’s pride knows no bounds. As so many others have expressed across the fruited plain – this has awakened the sleeping giant.
Good. Now vote responsibly and let’s take this country back to its constitutional roots. But first, let’s appeal Obamacare.
This “constitutional expert” smarty pants [BO]- doesn’t realize the dilemma the Supreme Court decision has placed him in. If the Republicans are smart they are crafting commercials as we speak with sound bites of Obama and every Democratic talking head swearing up and down that the “penalty” in Obamacare was not and would never be a tax.
From the moment the lawyers argued in front of the Supreme Court, they maintained that it wasn’t a penalty but a tax.
If you voted for this man and for a majority of Democrats in Congress and the Senate that eventually led to the largest increase in taxes in all of recorded history, then think on this, not only did you assist in polluting the shades of these United States, but you accepted the people you elected lying to your face like you were idiots.
Vote responsibly and intelligently this November 2012. We all make mistakes. We all get carried away in the moment and follow along with people we trust. Trust no one. Do your research and let us begin to clean up the rot and pollution this administration has left us to clean up.
