Believe it or not: There are some that want more censorship on our internet

Updated on January 22, 2014

Excuse me but are these Jewish Children or Muslim of Christian or Buddhist or Hindi?

No one cares until we realize who they are and we can blame their parents for taking our jobs.

This is real important for people

Mao Tse Tung began his total revolution based on the premise of poverty. Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin found scapegoats to blame bad economic conditions upon. That is just history and if the names drive fear into you, some fifty years later you need to understand why. Do not just knee jerk reaction and worry about Christians and Jews, look deeper in how they did what they did and to do that you must start with the beginnings of their rise to power.

Get over it! These names do not just relate to firing sqauds and mass starvation and gas chambers. You have to grow up sometime and look at America and our failing situation. What is being eroded in the name of the economy and fear from outside sources is very real.

Socialization as a reaction to poor performance is first. Then comes scapegoats and censorship of them.

"It is people and statements like him that are ruining FB" "I used to make more online than now, it must be his fault for criticizing the system" "he does not follow our rules or our gods so it must be his fault that I have less". Be truthful and write a comment indicating you have not seen this kind of notion here and everywhere. I would like to understand your mindset. And I am sure my readers would also.

It is happening in the name of economics and the blame game has started. It is writers who move toward the edge of social involvement that get hit first. And it is not the government of even business that starts a "brown shirt" or KKK movement it is people who gobble this pabulum up as though it were a God send and truth and a Holy Grail.

We are at a crux in our American Society.

Just take is simple.

Are others to blame for your not "succeeding"

See results

Sorry but I can go and get here tomorrow. I really can leave all this behind -- We call that Freedom.

Most people do not get that we have as wilderness folk. We come to a point as to not need you but you need us.

I do not mean to brag but!! I was about 6 years old and this guy made a trip through Sedona Arizona, my pappy had connects and set me down on this mans stool wi

Will we forsake truth and victory of truth for victory through allegation of wrong speak?

No we will not, not here, not now and not ever. Some of us will perish in love of freedom and be crippled by the brutal attacks launched against our warnings. And so be it. If you cannot suffer the pain stay away from the gain. If you are weak and need to distance yourself from us who declare this creeping destruction of our rights, go quickly.

As our commandos like to say " the game is afoot, so the innocent must hide quickly"

You are failing the test!

Somebody has to tell you. Or should we just shut up until censorship takes it's course and violations are criminal and of your neighbor goes to the gulag because his free speech caused your husband to loose his job, and dang well do not forget their religion is different.

Just look at my FB and ask somebody who looks like a childhood buddy. And ask them did Rob and I go to jail for freedom of speech before we were 17.

I shall gladly suffer the slings and arrows and If my son only knows a convict for a father let him know it was because you did not like what I said.

Oh I hear you scoffers that say I am an alarmist. And that is just what the folks said in a Bulgarian Country around 1936. I am an alarmist! If so then my brother is a dead man walking for speaking of love.

Beauty Queens and obscene machines

Apparently in this new world that you promote by your purchases, ugly and calloused and hard working non-anorexic woman are not good enough unless they buy the cream or article you are pushing.

And then the husband is denied affection because someone on mass media told his wife she is not worthy --- and the beat goes on, and censor us who oppose this marketing hell that has actually cause suicide among our young teens.

But blame the failure on the man who speaks our against it. For you are above such things yet make your living peddling flesh of the "perfect" kind.

I am not buying this crap for one second. It is wrong.

But you attack is free advocate and free speech type with everything in your bones. And the question has an answer and it is fear that those different than you are to blame. Blame on!

Old cowboys are people too.

Maybe just got memories, but please let us share them without your judgment.

I know it is hard for some of you to comprehend.

Some of us really do speak from the heart and have crazy doctorates and live in near poverty and spend their time with homeless and foster children and in prisons. I know that sounds crazy. But we exist. And we are Atheists and Theists or all sorts.

And with that we stand for principals. Really that is not foreign to us. We have spouses that complain and children who do not get new presents because the money went for blankets for others.

I when we see any deviation from free speech we go nuts. Not for a paycheck and not because we are beholding to someone or are in fear. But we know what that fear combined with censorship of the outcast results in as a society.

I beg you to see the need for voices that are different in grammar and punctuation and society than you and embrace that notion that all of us are people too.

Very well said Walter, It would be a lot less hypocritical and productive not to censor but rather let people censor for themselves. I do it, I have not watched a TV commercial in over 2 years.

If we believe in laissez faire, we should believe in free speech. Why are we afraid of minority opinions? Let the majority drown down the voice of the minority by exposing their lies, if any, or by offering counter-arguments. If we can't, then we have to accept the minority opinion, because the majority may not always be right.

Au fait, you are of course very correct. Imposing our will to make us all more alike is not my idea of celebrating diversity.

The first step to hate is dehumanizing someone for whatever short coming one may believe they have. After that it's easy to marginalize and abuse and hate. All humans have more in common than we have differences and the world would be a better place if we focused more on the things we have in common and less on the differences.

Tolovaj, you surely nailed here. Thank you for a great addition to this hub. Personal responsibility for sure.

You started with some very known names, but we can probably add just about everybody who ever started the quest for power in disguise as public servant. It is always easier to blame somebody else than yourself and everybody has a choice to decide among doing what is right and doing what is easier on daily basis.

If responsibility will ever become more appreciated, many problems will be diminished. Thanks for this thoughtful hub!

Thank you Dora, we must keep our smiles about us. Funny but I find the older that I get the more little things make me smile.

Eric, you have made your point. Your last sentence is to be taken seriously, but it also made me smile. "Somebody has to tell you" and somebody has to beg you. Thank you for being the voice.

We must continue to play! Perhaps you are right that it is aboard a sinking ship, but by God it is the same ship my children are on.

It is me and my thoughts and you and yours - let us stop sharing them because we are not good at thinking? Hmmm. Bill you are a gentle man first and always. Blessings

It's the love of money Eric; pure and simple. And what does the love of money do to the human brain? It poisons the brain, and when people get enough of the poison, they suffer brain damage.Consequently, they become very stupid. But I appreciate your optimism and your article. If you had been aboard the Titanic, you would have been among the musicians who continued to play as the ship was sinking; providing some comfort and beauty to those about to die.
