We Mustn't Turn Back Now

Updated on August 6, 2019
abwilliams profile image

Ignore the in-my-face obvious issues and lend all of my attention to unwarranted, groundless non-issues? Not happening!

'THE FIXERS'
'THE FIXERS'

When all else fails

I figured it was about that time, the signs abound...

Nothing stickworthy has come out of Russian Collusion....

in the Hunt for Blue November and 2020: A Take-It-Back Odyssey.

Cohen has come off as an opportunist, Stormy and her pimpin' Attorney have definitely come off as opportunists.

I am sure there are plenty of opportunities just around some corner and down some dark back alley for all of them.

Hillary has been out and about, trying to convince the Nation and the World, that she was robbed; she, in fact, is a victim, but the Nation and the World does not see her as a victim, they know her, they know better!

The Left continues to invoke the 25th Amendment. I heard Presidential contender Elizabeth Warren, do it yet again, yesterday, all while President Trump continues to hold rallies from State to State, with standing room only, if you can even get into the room to stand, that is!

Those he is endorsing at these rallies, are doing very well in the primaries and I wish them all the best as they prepare to do battle with Democratic Socialists, come November.

But the faces of every day people in attendance at these rallies, those not seeking office, not seeking anything from President Trump nor from this Nation, are the faces I see.

They are faces full of optimism.

They are looking forward, not backwards and they are finally leaving something far behind....their doubt!

It is called optimism...and the Dems can't allow that!

It is time to bring out the big guns, it is time for...’The Fixers’.

~~~
In one single day, there was Biden on the tube, offering nothing new, just Joe being same old Joe, what else does he know?
Then along came John Kerry. Who knows what he was talking about.....no really, who knows, do you? I can never hear him over my constant yawns.
I knew it had to all be leading up to, something BIG!
But, “something big” for the Democratic Party, means same old, same old.
Nothing new, no exciting new Fall flavors...just plain old vanilla.
No pumpkin spice lattes...not with this predictable bunch!
Taking credit?
Yes, the time has come for Barack Obama to make an appearance.
He has had enough of hearing about Trump, about our thriving economy and of being remembered for.... (well, of not being remembered)
He has returned, to set the record straight!
He apparently paved the way for all of this, shall we say... upswing?
Although his ideas about leadership, governance, capitalism...the United States Of America, are the polar opposite of President Trump, he, Obama, is attempting to cash in!
Eight years of Obama/Biden and Company in review:
  • Former President Obama not only told us that we should ”accept evil coming to a town near us”, he told us that manufacturing jobs were gone and “were not coming back.”
  • Obama questioned how Trump would spur economic growth and he sarcastically joked, would Trump “do it with a magic wand?”
  • Obama also warned us and prepared us, to come to terms with “unemployment in the United States of America, as the new normal.”
  • Of course, all of us business owners will never forget him telling us, before he was elected, “if you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that.”
But, here he is, brought in for the mid-terms, trying to take credit, all while trying to convince us that what we see happening, isn’t happening, but whatever good is in it, is because of him.
Got all that?
Am I right or am I right?
Why would we turn back now?
I have been hearing that there will likely be a blue wave come November.
I am hearing about the patterns and what history has shown us about elections and I am hearing, it is pretty much, inevitable!
Really?
History didn’t prepare us for a businessman coming into office with one goal, to take the lead in taking our Country back.
It is working!
We are witnessing it everyday; not only in a thriving economy, we are seeing a dug-in deep state swamp monster fighting back, not wanting to give up its domain.
We are seeing a media, which has sold out (in allegiance with the swamp monster) leaving We the People in their wake.
Every time they degrade the man that we elected fair and square, they degrade us, they do not care and they are showing no signs of backing off.
This has, unfortunately, become an us versus them.
We are told time and time again that we aren’t witnessing what we think we are. They, the elite, know so much better than we, actually out here living it, seeing optimism on the rise, seeing our lives improving, not accepting defeat...even though Obama asked us to
We are told that we can’t trust this current President, but he has not given us any reason, no not one...to not trust him!
~~~

We need to give up safety and prosperity for a return to what Obama and Company sold us for eight long years?

Now, he and his team have returned, urging us to help him....to help them...take it back!

I don't think so.

Why would we ever do that?

Why would we turn back now?

      Sounds much too complicated T, but thanks for the tutorial!

      I do manage at times, but in the case of the church lady, I was bringing the entire site (church) lol... into my comments section.

      You can post any pic or meme but you have to get the url for the image you want which will end in .jpg or. png or some other format. It varies how to get it from smart phone to smartphone phone and differs on a PC. You just have to figure out how to open the pic by itself and copy the url. If you are on a PC you can go to the website where the pic is found and right click on it and pick “copy image address” or “open image in new tab” and copy the url.

      I know, right? My kids always play with those things. I still can't figure out half of the things they play with. I like the GFI things. My daughter's latest favorite thing to do is to have a text conversation with me using them. Gets silly and funny.

      I give up....I was trying to have the Church Lady respond with an "Isn't that special", but couldn't make it work.

      I'm such a novice when it comes to memes and such. lol

      You’ll like this. I have it on good authority the Democrats have put together a ticket for 2020 because they are afraid Biden wants it and they know nobody takes him seriously! Of course that’s a top qualification for leaders like Pelosi or a Democrat Senator or Vice President, but not for President in 2020. And so...

      I agree Eric, bring on the fixers!

      I heard that CNN had called it for the Dems, T. Yep, that’s what I am talking about!

      The Dems have the media in their corner, suggesting they’ve already taken back the House, along with ‘sources’ going back to Kavanaugh’s high school days and his teenage dalliances!

      If spin the bottle and seven minutes in heaven are going to come back and haunt us...maybe none of us should ever show our faces in public again...certainly not on the Supreme Court!

      Good grief!

      The left is soooooo Predictable!

      Well CNN is touting their new poll of likely voters. The say the dems are up by 10 points over the republicans for the midterm.

      It’s all over, according to CNN....lol

      Chalk it up to one more CNN lie which will be proven at the next election. Now the dems are bringing out an accusation against Kavanaugh from when he was a teenager! How insane is that after years of vetting of him for all kinds of government positions a week before his confirmation vote they have an alleged something from 40 years ago?

      I just love politics. It is the best schoolroom learn about people. The symposium for profiling.

      I think it is important for those fixers to come out of the closet. It will only strengthen the "people's resolve".

      Uh-oh just heard the phrase, "the Republicans are picking up steam for the mid-terms".

      Were the Dems premature in bringing out their big guns, aka 'The Fixers'?

      Obama and the rest of these "fixers" live in their own insane universe where up is down and down is up. They are tiring to watch and painful to listen to, and they are turning more people off than on. The only thing Clinton is accomplishing is showing the world that she is shrinking!

      Now that's funny right there!

      My kids used to come up with jokes they thought were new and fresh and I'd say, that one is so old...the last time I heard it, I fell off the back of a dinosaur, from laughing so hard.

      LOL. No, actually, that's just me feeling old! I already have one teenage know-it-all and a preteen with a teen attitude....throw a fiesty younger brother in the mix.... Let's just say I have less energy than I used to have, but it requires more. Haha. You have a great weekend, too!

      I do not remember the media picking a side....EVER!

      Don't even get me started on the Obama insurance debacle. That caused us to take time away from our hurting business to petition Congress.

      Gosh, you make me think way back to high school.... LOL. ....But, yes, I do recall some from American Government and History classes.

      My economic status has not been greatly altered by any preside thus far in my life, though. I would say improvement now has more to do with work and a lot of lick being in the right place at the right time to meet the right people. Although I can say that the people we work for will probably be affected, which could hurt our business.

      But all I was truly affected by during the Obama gears was that stupid health plan. I had to pay a doctor a deposit higher than the cost of an uninsured visit to be seen. And once they found out I had "insurance", I couldn't pay out of pocket to be seen. What good is insurance if you can't even afford to use it? That's been one of my biggest hopes for improvement this go round. But I still wonder about the us versus them thing you mention. Seems to me politics in general has become that. Or maybe always been that way.

      Well lucky for me Shannon, I was able to experience this once before.

      We had elected Jimmy Carter (not me, but other people) and he was out of his league...big time! It was disastrous. You probably studied about it in school. (OR NOT) There were long gas lines, gas limits, people were always on edge in these looong lines.

      There were hostages being held in Iran, flaunted around blindfolded, as their captors humiliated them, humiliated us.

      It was bad!

      Carter was lost!

      Ronald Reagan rode in and saved the day. (well...he had to get off the horse ;))

      Hope was restored. Patriotism made a return. There was no longer doom and gloom.

      Sound familiar?

      No one knew what we’d be getting with Trump, but he wasn’t tearing us down, tearing down this Country, as Obama always did!

      He too, rode in to save the day...

      We’ve lived it. We almost lost a 40 year old business, we almost lost everything. It was bleak! Now, business is booming, we can’t keep up, we are turning away work. We are hearing it and seeing it with other businesses. Have you heard what Target Stores have said about the economy? (look it up)

      Trust me there are major differences between the way a Jimmy Carter, a Barack Obama run things (into the ground) and the way a Ronald Reagan takes the lead, a Donald Trump follows that lead. Not perfect, but both give,(gave) a damn about this Country.

      You know, I remember when I was a kid in elementary school learning about the 1992 presidential race that was occurring. We had a mock election in class, and when I told my dad who I voted for he asked me why. Considering I don't like politics much at all, that may be a strange thing to remember. I suppose it just taught me that if I'm going to vote, I need to know why I am voting for the person I choose to vote for and not do it just because everyone else does. Since then, though, I have noticed that it doesn't matter which party is in power; it's always the same. I can't recall a time in my life when I have heard about how great a president in office is doing as an overall consensus. It also seems that the respect I was taught as a child for the offices is sorely lacking now. What happened to if we don't like the president we should at least respect the office? Do you ever wonder what comes after Trump? It's almost surreal to look back at past presidencies as a historical era. This is just the present one. Couldn't turn back even if we wanted to.
