It is very sad that a doctor whose duty is to save the patient and lessens the pain and sufferings of the patient goes on strike.

In many hospitals around Pakistan the doctors went on strike for many days and nights and during that period many children, young and old patients died due to  the absence of a doctor and the negligence of a paramedical staff.

Although a doctor can not give life to the dying patient but certainly he/she can lessens the pain and the misery of a person who is sick.

Sometimes the timely check up and the correct investigations and the right and  proper treatment can bring back life for a while but sadly due to the negligence of the doctor and paramedical staff and absence of a Doctor in the hospital patients are dying.

Government should think of increasing the pay scale of a doctor which is their demand and their demand is right because there is so much inflation in Pakistan that now it has become hard to maintain the standard of life in Pakistan.

It is non ethical for a Doctor to go on a strike and not attending the patient in a hospital.

It is my humble request from all the Doctors on strike, Kindly finish your strike and start attending the hospitals to save the humanity.

I understand your anxiety, Doctors should not be strike for any reason and government's duty to give them welfare. I am sorry for what has happened in Pakistan.

Hi sweetie thanks for agreeing with me and yes you are right ,in other countries Doctors are highly paid as well as they get respect from all the corners and in Pakistan and India Doctors work like a machine and they do not get much reward in comparison to those who are working least hours for fun and getting huge amount for that.

Hi drdspervez, i fully agree with you that doctors shouldnt go on strike ofr obvious reason but do we in India and pakistan treat our doctors the way they should be respected. As compared to others in govt they are most worked and least paid and also why let the situation go out of hand so much that doctors have to go on strike. My good friends are doctors and i know how much over worked are they and what about rights of doctors. It has become a fashion to always say bad things about doctors rather than really appreciating what they do and think about them too.
