Donald Trump: America’s Greatest President

Updated on January 16, 2019

Vivian observes life and culture and offers truthful insights to introduce balance and normalcy to the crazed sectors of society.

When our founding fathers framed our Constitution, they did so to limit the power of a central government. That power had to be shared between the federal government and the states while protecting the liberties of the American citizens. The Constitution is flexible enough to survive modern times, yet restrictive enough to prevent our government from becoming tyrannical, leaders becoming too powerful, and majorities taking away rights of minorities. The liberal Left plots to abolish our Constitution and the Electoral College because both stand in the way of their calculated agenda to grab power and rob us of freedom and the American Dream. Donald Trump was divinely elected for such a time as this. He’s wise to the corruption of the Deep State and its defilement of our country, and he works tirelessly to restore America to her former glory.

American citizens have grown accustomed to the broken promises of political leaders who say one thing to get elected and then do another when they assume office. After suffering through eight years of the toxic Obama administration and witnessing its passivity as America was sucker-punched on the world stage, we wondered if our nation had reached the point of no return. When Donald Trump decided to take on the establishment and their politically correct, divisive, and double-talking schemes, he caught our attention. He was different. He was unpolished. He was brash. What did we have to lose? We were astounded to hear a candidate bluntly voice our same sentiments we kept to ourselves for fear of retaliation. In a mere two years, Donald Trump has accomplished more than any other modern day president has in two full terms. We made a good choice.

Donald Trump Keeps His Promises

Donald Trump campaigned on key promises, and we would have been happy if he had fulfilled a small handful—it would have been more than any other politician. We have been conditioned by legislators to lower our expectations. As it turns out, Trump continues to accomplish one pledge after another, as if he is ticking them off of a national to-do list. How does he do this so seamlessly when his predecessors achieved so little? First, he is not a puppet of any political party, and he is certainly not beholden to any lobbyist or corporation. He financed his own campaign and owes no one. Second, he takes his job description seriously. He once said, “I am only the messenger.” He meant he has no subversive or self-serving agenda like so many in the Washington swamp do. He simply follows through on the issues we elected him to do. Third, he doesn’t waste time. He is a high-energy, hard-working man with the grit to get the job done.

Donald Trump Puts America First

Unlike the invertebrate Obama, who made a fool of himself with his “lead from behind” approach and caused world leaders to scorn and disrespect us, Trump has restored our power on the world platform. Our once feeble military is now stronger than ever allowing us to achieve peace through strength. Our NATO allies are stepping up to pay their fair share. Trump has renegotiated horrible trade deals to make them reasonable and more profitable to America, and he has brought trillions of dollars of offshore monies back into our country and economy. He has stripped away crushing regulations for small businesses, helping them boom, and unemployment rates are at historic lows. In addition, we are experiencing increased energy independence, and the crippling health care mandate has been eliminated. He is a master negotiator with a brilliant mind for business, and he’s putting his expertise to work for the American people.

The far Left share a globalist perspective. They hate borders and claim no human can ever be illegal. The Left acts oblivious as MS-13, terror suspects, human traffickers, and drug cartels pore through our southern border. Thousands have died as a result, and the statistics continue to climb. The cost of illegal immigration is an exhaustive burden on taxpayers, costing us $275 billion a year. Trump promised us a wall and secure borders because, unlike the leftist radicals constituting the entire Democratic Party, he knows his primary job is commander-in-chief. It’s his job to protect the American people, and he is doing just that despite the demoniacal fight from obstructionists. The liberal Left gives precedence to illegal, criminal invaders and felons over American citizens. They pompously boast about their sanctuary cities, even as their citizens are murdered in cold blood on the streets. Let’s also not forget how Obama released $150 billion of frozen assets to Iran, along with a $1.7 billion cash payment that coincided with the release of four hostages. Yes, let’s ensure the nation that chants “Death to America” acquires the funds they need to nuke the U.S. and Israel, but let’s not approve $5 billion for a wall when walls have been tested and proven to be effective. The Left tramples over us in their rabid pursuit of power. They are unhinged, and they don’t care anything about you. Trump does.

Donald Trump Restores Law and Order

Obama was not a social justice warrior—he was a race-baiter. People expected an African-American president to be a unifier who brought healing, reconciliation, and restoration to racial tensions, but Obama did just the opposite. He was associated with anti-Semitic Louis Farrakhan (the “let’s kill more white people” nut), radical, anti-America Reverend Jeremiah Wright, bomber Bill Ayers, and other shady characters. As the maxim goes, the company you keep makes you what you are. Obama showed disdain for America, especially towards conservatives, and he even weaponized the IRS and other agencies to target them. Remember his unguarded crack about small town voters who “cling to guns or religion?” During his presidency, Obama launched a full-blown war on law enforcement and showed contempt for our military. Chaos and rioting were the hallmarks of Obama’s disregard for law and order. Anarchists like ANTIFA were not subdued, and anyone with an opposing view from the liberal Left was attacked and labeled as either racist, homophobic, sexist, misogynistic, or bigoted. “Hate speech” became whatever the conservative voice was saying—just ask Ben Shapiro, Ann Coulter, and the other conservative speakers who attempted to lecture on college campuses and were either shouted down or violently chased off campus. Who are the real fascists? The answer is the radical Left because freedom of speech is in their crosshairs.

Trump has turned the tables. Trump respects and takes care of our veterans. He honors the military and he venerates and supports our men and women in blue. He supplies them with the tools they need to keep our communities and our country safe. No more do you hear about Kim Jong-un testing nuclear missiles in the South China Sea because “Rocket Man” is towing the line. ISIS is no longer making the headlines on a regular basis because Trump has completely decimated them, unlike Obama who shirked his duty by undermining the threat of a “J.V. Team.”

Trump also restores law and order by appointing Supreme Court Justices and judges who uphold our Constitution as it is written. Obama stepped across constitutional boundaries countless times during his presidency while we looked on helplessly. For example, Obamacare is unconstitutional, and the Supreme Court legalized gay marriage, even though it has no legislative power.

Donald Trump Confronts Corruption

The mainstream media has become a fascist propaganda machine as in the days of Hitler, yet they fiendishly brand conservatives as Nazis. Donald Trump doles out much needed discipline to these faux journalists who disservice the American people by failing to report the unbiased facts. Trump’s accomplishments are featured only on Fox News and American One News. They are flagrantly disregarded by every other network. The fake news media, an extension of the DNC and Hillary Clinton, spin the same false narratives to assassinate the character and credentials of President Trump to distract us from their own scandals, collusion, and criminal behavior.

Trump turns the Democratic Party over his knee when they initiate policies to force socialism on the American people. Socialism has been proven time after time to be a failed system of government, yet the liberal Left continues to offer “free candy” to Americans to entice us into captivity—much like the stranger who invites a child to his van to see baby kittens. Every proposal of radical Left for free education, universal healthcare, green energy, and the like would quickly bankrupt our nation. The powerful and connected leaders would continue to live posh lifestyles while the rest of us barely eked out an existence. Eventually, you run out of other people’s money. Socialism is the antithesis of the American Dream. Instead of encouraging people to work hard, capitalize on their talents, and achieve success, socialism guarantees we all are poor and have nothing. Be grateful Trump isn’t standing passively by while the Democrats, socialists, and radical liberals high-jack the American people and destroy our way of life. Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren, “Crying Chuck” Schumer, “Crooked” Hillary, “Cardinal” James Comey, and the whole deranged pack are nothing more than minions operating on behalf of their father the devil.

One Nation Under God

Most importantly, Trump acknowledges our country was designed to be one nation under God. George Washington said, “You can’t have national morality apart from religious principle.” Trump understands that blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord (Psalm 33:12), and he continues to operate government based on biblical standards. However, Isaiah warned, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter (5:20).” That scripture alone could be the mantra for the Democrat Party because all that Trump does in our national best interests is classified as “evil,” yet what the liberals proclaim to be “good” is utter wickedness. Throughout the New Testament, the Pharisees laid trap after trap to try to catch Jesus in his words so they could hand him over to the authorities, but Jesus outsmarted them because he was wise to their devices and false sincerity. The devil hasn’t changed his tactics. Corrupt politicians and the fake news media watch every word that proceeds from Trump’s mouth, hoping to twist his message into an impeachable offense.

Trump also honors God’s chosen people, Israel, by recognizing Jerusalem as their capital. He wishes Americans a “Merry Christmas” despite the stigma the Left has attached to this Christ-centered celebration. He declares, “God bless America” over all of us, and we are prospering. When Trump speaks, it is with the authority and power of God behind him. This is why he is so viciously attacked. Obama and the swamp creatures of the Deep State gained ground for the devil, and Trump is taking it back. The bible is filled with examples of God coming through for Israel and bringing them victory despite the cards being stacked against them. Through God’s sovereignty, Trump also became our president against all odds, sacrificing the perks of a billionaire’s lifestyle and passing the reins of an exceptional enterprise to his children, all so he could straighten out the mess America has become at the hands of the political cesspool. Trump meets the daily challenges of hate, lies, political posturing, and obstruction with toughness, tenacity, and unwavering fortitude to fight for every day Americans like us. Trump is a visionary with great plans for our country, and there is much yet to be done. Let’s support his agenda to make America great again and reject the vile maneuvering of a crazed Left set on eradicating our freedoms, values, capitalist society, and blessings that come from remaining one nation under God and operating by the framework of our national treasure—the Constitution.

      Great article and brave American.

I hope to live to see America great again, too. Where would we be right now if Hillary had been elected? The third world order would be right here in our face I fear.

Here's another article showing that the government shutdown, thanks to the Democrats, cost about seven times more than funding the border wall.

This article is so awesome on how Ted Cruz schooled the Democrats on the issue of the border wall. Cruz presents the facts on how the Democrats are responsible for the government shutdown.

So, the government shutdown cost far more that it would to fund the wall. Interesting.

No need to be condescending Dean. We are all adults here and we can all clearly see for ourselves, what is going on.

      Dean,

I'm afraid we're at an impasse because we feel the exact same way on the other side of the spectrum. We also cut through the bull and see the left for what it is and cheer Trump for standing up to the Swamp creatures. I'm sure we will never see eye-to-eye. I do appreciate your time commenting, however, and I'm glad to finally meet someone on the other side who can argue respectfully without resorting to name-calling and false labeling. Thank you for that!

      Perrya,

I think the Mueller report will prove to be the witch hunt it's been all along. Two years "investigating" and still not one shred of collusion evidence. The obvious collusion has been between Hillary Clinton and the Russians, and the real criminal case here is her putting national security at risk through her e-mail scandal and all the Swamp creatures playing along. Not to mention the pay-to-play scheme she has had going on---this also should be prosecuted. The Mueller "probe" was given too far a scope. He is destroying people based on issues totally unrelated to the election and fabricated collusion just to damage people who support Trump.

Ab -- As the old saying goes, the proof is in the pudding. No amount of denial will change this. No amount evoking the fake news nonsense or claiming he's a victim of some conspiracy. It also changes nothing by labeling those who critique him as haters or have tds (which i wrote a hub on). Those of us with the knowledge and ability to cut through the bull see things very clearly. And some of us are not fooled.

I spend a lot of time around emotionally disturbed teens. Believe me; i know a man-child when i see them.

Correct, AB! "Hating Trump" is their only platform. They offer no positive solutions to anything. Trump continues to have a growing track record of accomplishments that make life better. Unemployment is the lowest it's been since 1969! Better trade deals, slashing crippling regulations for small businesses, making it lucrative to base industry in the U.S. instead of overseas, etc. However, the Dems won't be happy until they replace capitalism with socialism so we can live like citizens of Venezuela--poor and miserable under a dictatorship.

Dean, I stand by my earlier statement, he is the only adult in the room. He had to make this decision because security concerns are security concerns, whether in airports or on the southern border.

If Nancy or Chuck gave a rat’s rear end about anything other than Nancy or Chuck, they would not continually put the President in these positions, to once again, be the one to have to take a step back.

They gloat as if they’ve achieved some great victory over him, when in fact all they’ve done/all they are doing, is playing games with the security of this Nation.

They do so because they love their power and they hate our President!

Btw something to add to your comment. How is the shutdown just pork and bureaucracy ? How is rationing insulin seeking emergency loans and sweating over mossing a mortgage payment to stave off foreclosure? And is pork when security at airports were seriously compromised?

Part of what was offered had to with improving the existing wall as well technology such as drones. The security stuff wouldve been more effective. Do you lnow what border actually looks like? I have (had a great time in Tijuana, too in i lived in San Diego. A wall wouldnt be feasble considering the numerous canyons, ravines, wetlands and barren deserts. Besides. The port of entry for thos illegally entering the country are airports these days (by means of overdue visas.

All of the border security Trump was offered did not include the wall. It included technical security which scans vehicles for guns, drones, Etc. None of the proposed "security measures" would stop the flow of illegal immigrants across the border. Every country that has a wall as proven them to be effective in stopping over 90% of illegal immigration. Trump promised a wall, and we need the wall! Who cares if the government shuts down! There's so much pork and bureaucracy anyway that none of our lives were affected by the last shut down!

First off, the paula comment has to do with an unprovoked, childish BS response she directed at me.

Secondly, trump had been offered numerous times for border security by the so-called children in the room. He had plenty of chances to get things done when he had a party majority in house. Also, he couldve prevented this shutdown if he set out and signed the bill like he was going to do. He refused only when ann coulter and rush started lambasting for not including for the wall. Through this process he wasnt the smart level headed leader he thinks he is.

I too have been a Ted Cruz fan since my Tea Party days, Vivian and I supported him throughout the Primaries.

I don't know if anyone knows the U.S. Constitution any better and he comes closer than all others to my favorite President, Ronald Reagan.

I thought it was Cruz's time, but God had other plans.....Donald J. Trump.

Paula is right! Trump has been the only adult in the room with Pelosi and Schumer. He's the one offering compromise and concessions without sacrificing his promises to those who elected him. Schumer and Pelosi won't budge because their rabid need for power and prominence causes them to dig their heels in at the expense of the safety of all Americans. Plus, the Democrats cannot tout all of Trump's vast accomplishments because he will be a shoe-in in 2020. Instead, they fabricate stories to make Americans mad because mad Americans might vote Democrat. With Democrats, it's all smoke and mirrors. Trump continues to stand his ground, tell the truth, and keep his promises. It's more than any Democrat has ever managed to do.

      A.B. Williams,

I was a Ted Cruz fan initially, but now I can see Trump was elected just when we needed him. He may be our last chance of seeing a president truly working for the American people instead of a political agenda that awards power to the elite and corrupt to subjugate the rest of us. Parents make decisions based on what is good for their kids instead of simply what their kids want. For example, kids would eat a steady diet of junk food if you let them, but a wise parent knows to feed them healthy meals despite their cries of protest. Similarly, Trump is like the good parent who makes sound decisions in the best interests of the American people and our Constitutional values despite the opposition that is constantly kicking and screaming.

Thank you so much for your follow! I will return the kindness!

      Perrya,

I disagree....history, if it is honest, should be kind because his track record of accomplishments out paces any previous president. If history, however, is chronicled by the corrupt fascist propaganda machine, then I'm sure it will be biased against him. Getting 800K workers back to work was not Trump swallowing his pride--it was him trying to find solutions despite constant obstruction from Democrats who had no trouble funding the wall in the past when they knew no one else would make it a reality. Democrats could care less if American citizens are safe from the drugs, human traffickers, and criminal element crossing the border illegally. Nor do democrats care that our country will collapse under the burden illegals are on our economy. All Democrats care about is getting more power, more electoral representation to give them that power, and establishing socialism that leads to devastation and ruin, as it has in Venezuela and the other 39 countries in which has been tried. No matter how much the Democrats obstruct and show nothing but disdain for citizens of this country, Trump continues to win!

      Leland,

Thanks for checking out my blog(s)! It may feel like the blind leading the blind for me to explain how to do it. I'm not a techie person, so the struggle is real! I did my best to research the best blogging site. The consensus was to use WordPress. I started my Christmas blog there https://wordpress.com/view/treateverydaylikechrist...

I played around with the tools to get it to look like I wanted. Then I discovered that it could not be monetized without a paid plan!!! No amazon affiliate links or ad words. I looked into the fees for upgrading the plan and realized that unless you really get a lot of traffic and sell a robust number of products, you would be going into the hole. I toyed around with moving the Christmas blog to Blogger.com, but Blogger is limited on themes, so I couldn't recapture the look there. I am seeing that the general population doesn't think about Christmas until it's Christmas, so the traffic to that site is pretty pitiful at the moment. So, I decided to just leave it at WordPress and add content as a hobby when I have the time.

Blogger.com does not have nearly as many themes and options, but it is simple and straightforward to use and FREE! I think you have to have a Google account, which I already had. You also have to have an Amazon Affiliate account. It's as simple as clicking "start a blog" or something like that, and it leads you through the simple process. Unless you purchase a domain name, which I did not, your address will always have thenameyouchoose.blogspot.com, but that's okay by me for now. You choose a theme and then customize the layout. Keep playing with the "gadgets" until you get what you want on there and get it to look the way you want. You can immediately start inserting Amazon affiliate links. You log into your Amazon affiliate account, find the product you want to insert in your blog, copy and paste the html code, and put it where you want it. This step made me insane because I didn't realize you had to toggle from your "compose" screen to the "html" screen via a tab. You then have to find the spot you want the Amazon product to appear and insert the code. Then click the tab to go back to your "compose" screen and complete your post. Amazon has a ton of different ways to sell products, but I became so confused and chose the easiest method I could understand!

I have two blogger.com blogs--the one you read, which is my conservative platform https://voicesfromeverydayamerica.blogspot.com and one for literary nuts like myself at https://readingbuddiesbooknook.blogspot.com. You do not immediately qualify for GoogleAdSense. I'm not sure what their formula is for when ads are permitted, but I do know you have to keep adding content and be on there a number of weeks before the "earnings" tab un-grays so you can go through the application process to have AdWords placed on your site. When I met their criteria (whatever it is), I applied. It said my application was under review and typically takes less than one day before I would hear from them on how to proceed. Well, it's been over a week, and I still have not gotten word! Probably because my topics are too conservative, LOL! I did some online searching and found others have had this same issue.

Since I do not have Adwords yet, my blog content is aimed at driving traffic to my Hubpages articles where I do have a shot of earning from impressions. Once I have AdWords on the blogs, I will probably include original content to just the blogs. Don't quote me on this, but I think you have to earn $100 from GoogleAdSense before they will issue payment. Any Amazon products you sell on a blog add up in your Amazon affiliate account, and I think their payment threshold might be as low as $10, but I can't remember for sure. You can track your Amazon clicks through your affiliate account. If I'm not mistaken, I think the bonus of selling Amazon products through your blog is that you get the full commission. When you sell products through Hubpages, they take a portion of your earnings.

Hope this helps in getting you started with your own blog! By the way, you can have an unlimited number of blogs through Blogger.com, so you can juggle multiple sites geared toward the things you love. Happy writing!

Can't take credit for "journalism is dead" as I've heard several people say that phrase, but at first I think I thought it was just sick with a cancer and might be cured. Not so sure anymore. I guess the latest scurrying they are doing is re the whopper about high school students and a native American. The students didn't know he was just up to old tricks but the media certainly knew he was well-known for making trouble, or they easily could have before reporting as they did about the students. Should the original reporter be arrested since the lie's consequences include death threats to the students, their families, and their school's student body (last I heard)? Yes. The answer is yes, because death threats are illegal, but we won't hold our breath, will we?

Thanks for speaking up with quite a lot to consider. We live in interesting times. I really thought media would tame themselves down by now but it is absolutely mind-boggling to watch them ramp up their self-destruction. Having long ago given up just believing them without waiting for truth to surface it was incredible to see them recently report from Buzzfeed. It was jaw dropping to hear they actually reported from that site. Desperation is the only explanation. Maybe journalism really is dead.

Brad, what a great metaphor about 20/20! It's refreshing to hear that every resident of California isn't insane after all!

Trump 2020. In vision tests 20 20 is good vision, and in 2020 the good vision is Trump being president for 4 more years.

      Great article!

I wake up every single day and thank God above that we got so very lucky to have elected Trump, and not another degenerate leftist, like Obama.

Vivian.....I'm surprised you & I have shared the same writing site for years and I've only now discovered you! I must say that I'm very glad I have found you via this excellently written/ presented article. I'm duly impressed with your impeccable writing skill as well as your honest, common sense opinions & attitude on this particular topic.

Thank you so much for sharing vital information/facts which are so necessary to be publicly announced. Given the angry and adverse atmosphere (especially here on HP) I commend your courage.

In scrolling your list of articles, it's clear I will be back to read more of your work. Enjoy your week-end. Peace, Paula
