Arrest The Billionaires!

Updated on February 19, 2017

Red Herring

The very notion that 11 million foreign criminals or more need to be deported is a red herring, a strawman, a false dichotomy, etc. The illegal alien problem can easily be solved without a massive deportation program.

Billionaires Can't Hide

It’s much easier to arrest the billionaire heads of companies who hire foreign criminals rather than to chase illegal aliens all over the place. And when we are through arresting billionaires, the millionaires who hire illegal aliens are next. We don’t even have to search for which employers are hiring foreign criminals. Rather we offer bounties to whistle blowers who will tell us which employers are hiring illegal aliens. We don’t even have to pay for this program. We fine the companies what have hired illegals heavily and pay for the program out of the fines.

We can set both the bounties and the fines at low levels at first and them ramp them up a bit each month until the reports of the hiring of illegals come rolling in. If any actual illegals are encountered during this process we find out if there are any outstanding warrants and process those who have committed any crimes in addition to breaking the law by entering the country illegal and gaining jobs illegally. The remainder are offered bus tickets to the border if they want them and are politely asked to leave the country in 30 days. Then they are set free to find their own way to the border if they don’t want to take the bus. The only warning we give them is we are coming after EVERY employer of foreign criminals. They might want to return home before all illegal employment in the US dries up.

Arrest the Government!

It is not enough to pursue the law breaker employers. We must also pursue law breaking government employees and government officials who facilitate the criminal activities of illegal aliens. Any government official that aids, abets or supports things like Sanctuary Cities or driver’s licenses for foreign criminals will be subject to immediate arrest and prosecution for conspiracy to violate federal immigration laws. Just as we deliberately set out to put billionaire heads of corporations in jail if their corporations hire foreign criminals, so we will seek to put governors of states into prison if their states support Sanctuary Cities, driver licenses for illegals, etc. The whole emphasis here is to cut off the head of the snake and remove all incentives to break the law.

Cut of the Head of the Snake

We begin with the head of the snake and then we move down over time. So first we target companies that have over 1,000 employees. After we finish jailing all the corporate officers and HR types in those companies that hire foreign criminals, then to go down to companies that have 100 employees. We make sure that everyone knows that we will eventually be coming for the household that hires illegals as day laborers and maids.

And for the states, we start by jailing the governors that promote sanctuary cities and driver licenses for illegals and then we go down to mayors, and finally we get down the clerk who knowingly issued a driver’s license to an illegal alien. Yeah, she’s going to jail too.

As this process goes on and as people see the big fish going to jail, the little fish will begin to say: Not only no but hell no. I am not going to jail for hiring or aiding or abetting foreign criminals. When the jobs dry up, the illegals will self deport. Problem solved.

Hi - Your idea hits the spot. You have a unique solution to a huge problem. The only problem is that most of these criminals have influence, and it is difficult to overcome that issue. However, it is worth a try, and go for whatever works. Try it a little at a time and see what succeeds. Sharing, Blessings, Audrey

Cornelia, sometimes even the wealthy get caught and punished. Unfortunately we do need to depend on politicians and judges , both of whom seem easily bought to get the job done.

Amazing idea, PoetryMan but I don't know who will realize it. Most judges, advocates, police chiefs etc. work successfully and beneficially together with the mafia. For sure they will be reluctant to arrest the billionaires and all others who create the real problems :(

FlourishAnyway I find it astonishing how easy many if not most of our problems are to solve and how hard our seemingly bribed and possibly treasonous politicians work not to solve them. If the rich are in play just like everyone else, the rich will make some of our problems go away just by behaving better.

      Have a blessed Holiday Season!

You do have interesting ideas. I know a billionaire or two I would start with.

Thanks for dropping by Devika. I am beginning to think a certain strain of conspiracy theories are true. The conspiracy theories that say that all of our problems have easy and even trivial solutions but politicians conspire not to solve them.

      Have a blessed day!

Laurel I think we have to be careful whenever someone says that something is impossible, or stupid or evil. I think we need to first eliminate the possibility that the person just doesn't want to do it before we seriously consider whether a thing is possible.

For instance, if no one will hire illegals then the "need" to deport them goes away.

This is a fascinating take on a big problem. Yours makes as much sense as any I've heard. I knew a man once who had multiple drivers licenses and social security numbers and asked how he got them. He said you can go to certain street corners in L.A. and get them cheaply and easily. I asked WHY he got multiple IDs and his said, "Just to see if I could." That man is a native born citizen so I wonder how many illegals did the same thing.
