Enemy of my Enemy
America, Iran relations, what's next?
Do you think America will get in a war with Iran
Call for a Coalition of All Lives Matter and Black Lives Matter
'The enemy of my enemy is my friend' is an ancient maxim which proposes that rival forces can or should act collectively against a common enemy. Following this principle, the allied powers of the United States and England joined with Russia to crush Nazi Germany. President Franklin D. Roosevelt and England's Winston Churchill didn't affirm or advocate the concept of a workers state. And didn't trust Russian's Joseph Stalin, but were confident, they could handle his frail, unstable state after the war.
Trump's go to war moment will surely stir the enemy of my enemy maxim to unparalleled heights. Adversaries of this impending conflict aren't even elected leaders, but contradictory attitudes in Trump’s administration. White Nationalist Steve Bannon is Trump's chief strategist. Former editor of Breitbart News, Bannon celebrated his cultivation of Breitbart to a platform for the alt-right. This is an anti-Semitic movement that promotes white nationalism, intolerance, and Islamophobia. Bannon’s close ties with David Duke (KKK) and Alex Jones (Info-Wars) display a deep hatred for Israel. Jared Kushner, Jewish, and Son-in-Law of Trump is a staunch defender of Israel, possessing little tolerance or regard for Steve Bannon, David Duke, and their anti-Semitic views. But unlike weak "Bridge-gate Christie", Jared doesn't have the power to eliminate Bannon. At least not now! So they will get in bed together to crush their common enemy, Iran. With the blessing of Trump and two important players: Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu and Democratic Party Senator Chuck Schumer. Netanyahu has wanted to attack Iran for several years but he knew success would be on shaky ground without America’s support. Now with Schumer and Kushner steadfast collaborators of Israel, Netanyahu feels empowered.
The plot is being formed for execution and once their propaganda machine is rolled out, the CIA will go to work. The agency will devise a suitable situation for war. Similar to previous unjustified incursion, which sacrificed America lives to assure imperialistic expansion.
August 1964, Vietnam, American warship USS Maddox was attacked by Vietnamese vessels. Known as the Gulf of Tonkin incident, these attacks sanctioned the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution. Granting President Lyndon B. Johnson authority to aid any Southeast Asian government considered threatened by "communist aggression." This vast handover of power to the executive branch contributed to America’s entanglement in the Vietnam War that took 55,000 young Americans. However, in 2003 documentary Fog of War, Robert S. McNamara former United States Secretary of Defense admitted a falsehood. That the initial attack on USS Maddox was suspicious and second never occurred.
In March 2003, the Bush administration's principal rationale for war was an assertion that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction (WMD's). And Iraq posed an immediate threat to the United States. Several in the intelligence community claimed Saddam was harboring and accommodating al-Qaeda. Today that manufactured pre-war intelligence is classified false and contrary to fact, and yet it led America into the longest war in U.S. history.
The Trump conspirators will orchestrate an attack on Israel by the Palestinians. The National Security Advisor and CIA will produce indisputable evidence that Iran is the direct sponsor. While the flames of war are fanned by Trump's propaganda machine, CIA will take the confrontation a step farther. They will produce again indisputable evidence that Iran is breaking the nuclear treaty agreement. And like the war in Iraq, there will be little opposition when the Democratic Party leader whips up party support for his friend Benjamin Netanyahu.
The resistance; groups from all walks of life must develop a coalition and stand in opposition to an attack on Iran. Vietnam’s Anti-war folks must prepare to teach and train the youth on protracted struggle. If all lives matter, every life must matter, including the Iranian people. The Iranians have done nothing to America. And no security agency in the world has ever connected Iran to ISIS or Al-Qaeda. In truth, ISIS and al-Qaeda are the common enemies of the United States and Iran. Yes, many in America might not like Iranian culture or the way they treat women. However, Iranians dislike America's bullying and the western world's treatment of Muslims. It must be the goal of All Lives (Black or White) to bridge the divide through tolerance and dialogue. Students and universities must invite their counterparts from Iran to visit. Open dialogue and to develop a vested interest in each other’s well-being.
“If you want to make peace with your enemy, you have to work with your enemy. Then he becomes your partner.” Nelson Mandela.
America's second revolution is coming and requires new ideas and leadership to govern.
