Gauging Hypocrisy

Updated on July 17, 2012

It Didn't Take A Crystal Ball...

There is a difference between a scarecrow and Barack H. Obama. The primary difference is that the scarecrow does its job and I can't say the same about Obama after this past three and a half years. Obama goes on camera these days still playing the blame game. Lately it appears that Obama just doesn't get how the American public doesn't get the way he tells his "story." Maybe it really is that more people are beginning to understand that when his lips start moving he is lying, or at least his teleprompter is. The Great Uniter has now proven himself to be anything but that. The same person who decried playing "below the belt politics" back during his last campaign has now resorted to the lowest gutter ball politics I have ever seen in the past four decades. I never expect less from the Chicago thugacracy that now inhabits Washington DC. Maybe you think that is "alright conduct" coming from the President of the United States. I do not.

Noticing lately how "off message" Team Obama wants to remain? Very few middle class people appear to really care about Bain Capital. When that message failed they continued on the same message and added "outsourcing" to the equation. Bain Capital is in the business of attempting to save failing companies. They performed that function from the start whether Mitt Romney was there at the helm or on a leave of absence to a Utah working on saving the winter Olympic games. The hypocrisy in this whole scenario is that Barack Obama has never really held a job in his entire life that had anything remotely to do with running a business. Now he wants to question whether Romney has the experience or knowledge of how an economy works? How hypocritical can Obama get? He is the most inexperienced and unqualified person to ever inhabit the White House.

So outsourcing is now the issue? How long has that been going on considering we're in a global economy? So lets look at Obama's outsourcing achievements since he took office. The biggest one that took place in my mind was Obama ending our shuttle space program without a suitable replacement in place. Obama has essentially outsourced our entire space program to the Russians. Over the weekend they shuttled one of our astronauts to the international space station in a rented seat. The Ruskies aren't giving our folks a free ride ya know?

That's not to mention all those "green jobs dollars" that have been funneled to overseas companies. The Outsourcer-In-Chief has shipped our tax dollars, often contained in his stimulus bill, overseas to help finance his pet projects. This is the same former candidate (Obama) who on the campaign trail in 2007 was so insistent that if he was elected he would renegotiate NAFTA. Maybe he has forgotten that promise. I have not and he had no intention of doing so the first time he campaigned. In fact, part of the stimulus money was sent to Mexico for its solar panel industry. Recognize the hypocrisy here? Or to Fisker, the Finnish car company? That created jobs in this nation did it? Or even to China for for their green industry. See the pot calling the kettle black yet?

Pegged Out?

So while we're gauging hypocrisy on the outsourcing platform, where I give Obama a solid 10, lets look at his buddy Jeffrey Immelt and General Electric. Jeffrey is the CEO of GE and also chairs the President's Council on Jobs And Competitiveness. Maybe Obama has conveniently forgotten GE, Jeff and that fiasco. I have not. Obama wants to delve back into the 1999-2002 range and Bain. So lets do the same with Immelt and GE. Since 2001 when Immelt took over as CEO GE has lost 37,000 American jobs while at the same time adding 25,000 jobs overseas. Remember incandescent light bulbs, soon to be illegal in our country? GE has shuttered its American plants and relocated production to where? China is the answer. So what reward has been bestowed upon Immelt for his due diligence concerning American jobs? Go up and read the second sentence once again. There was something there about Jobs And Competitiveness in that sentence.

Time For Show & Tell Now Obama?

Then there's the "show me yours because I don't have to show you mine now" routine. This has to do with transparency, knowledge and hypocrisy. You have people like David Axelrod contending that Romney is even more secretive than Nixon. Never mind that it took years to get Obama to produce a forged long form birth certificate. Just never mind that Obama has spent millions of dollars sealing all known records of his past existence. Still waiting for you to release those academic records Obozo. Mitt Romney is a nice man. I'm not nearly as nice when people living in glass houses start throwing stones at me. Here's the deal Team Obama. When you release every thing that raises questions about Obama's authenticity then I'll slip a note to Mitt that he should release what you keep fishing for.

This has nothing to do with being a birther because that is a secondary issue. What I want to know about are the same things about Obama that he wants to know about Mitt Romney. The little things like just "who" are you, the real you and not the fabrications found in your two autobiographies? I want to see your academic credentials to insure that you understand how economies work. I'd also like to see your resume of business experiences to validate that you have even a clue about the subject since it is apparent you do not. How hypocritical can someone be sitting there next to Moochelle being interviewed on national TV claiming you want to know that Mitt Romney is "qualified" to run our nation's economy. It is obvious Barack that you are not qualified so lets shift gears and talk about that from now on. Lets talk about your failed record and not another person's successes in life.

Awarded To Barack Hussein Obama For His Absence of Leadership

It is said that this will be one of the dirtiest campaigns in history and I can see why very clearly. Obama has been a failure. His inexperience and lack of qualifications have been apparent for him to not be the CEO of a lemonade stand much less this nation. He gives a good, fiery speech or at least his teleprompter does. Most of us already know that Mitt Romney is wealthy. The majority of us care less about Bain Capital and more about the state of our nation after having to suffer through 3 and a half years of incompetence, Chicago style corruption and a lack of transparency that Obama so often promised as a candidate.

Obama was going to "change" politics in Washington DC. By his own admission, he has failed to do that also. He has taken it to the level of playing gutter ball if that is the type of change you thought you wanted. Obama made thousands of promises in order to suck too many people in. So now he wants 4 more years to correct his laundry list of mistakes? I don't think so...

As Always,

The Frog Prince

It just goes to show you that folks in Washington have been remiss in doing their you really think Obama proved anything to anyone with regard to birth or citizenship...they did not dare ask for fear that the race card might get played. The assumption was that he had been vetted in his effort to become a senator so they just let it go as did those who never checked his qualifications for senator...hmmmm...I think I hear the fain laughter of Obama and George Soros in the background. Sadly, far too many Americans will never recognize the fact that they have been duped an in the process the C0nstitution stand unprotected by the tyrant who came in through the bathroom window. In a way, we deserve every damn thing this man does to this country. Maybe if we survive it, we will finally wake up! WB

Unfortunately, Obama has taken such care to keep his identity a secret, I don't think we'll know until he's dead. Which raises another question I'm sure every American has asked. How we've gotten this far is scary. No Constitutional qualifications, yet not only has he held office for four years, but he's running again! I feel we no longer have a choice, or we would not even be having this discussion! How in the hell did this happen?

Frog, I'll defer to your knowledge on whether or not half-citizen is equivalent to 'foreign student', particularly with respect to the application processes and policies of Columbia University. Also, even though I hate that it happened, to convince me of guilt you'd have to provide something that indicates he knew he was American at the time. His books indicate he grew up in Indonesia from the time that he was a young child, and was in a drug-using soul-searching mode at the time. How would that factor in to a determination of guilt or innocence?

Don't forget, rumor has it that the folks at the 2008 Democratic Convention allowed a line-out of his affirmation of citizenship qualifications. Did he do something similar in his University applications? Show me the application with the signed statement of affirmation. If parts are lined out, then it's the University that committed the felony, and the beneficiary is merely unethical. Lack of ethics is the same old story for politicians, including Presidents.

By the way, Krystal Ball is a local who ran for a US Congressional seat here, and lost.

...and of course, there's the highly revealing campaign stop statement he made last Friday in Roanoke:

"If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen...."

The way I personally recall it (having built one successful business while failing with several others), "When I had a business, it was mostly in spite of others trying to stop it from happening." Especially big government.

Oh, yeah, drbj beat me to it. Should read the comments FIRST, eh?

But, following the Obama Dollar Doctrine (ODD), I needed to put the cart before the horse, push a rope, all that, so....

Since Obummy has no record of accomplishments to speak of, the only way he can campaign is to throw rocks at Mitt. But maybe his stupidity will do him in. Yesterday he made a speech to small business owners claiming that it was the government that made it possible for them to be successful. Not their entrepreneurial or creative efforts. Only the government. That declaration alone shoud have turned most of them off.

Fitnezz - What you are saying is that if Obama did attend those universities as a "foreign student" then he committed a felony. His campaign staff is accusing Romney of being a felon. Irony or deflection?

Obama was born as an American citizen. If his Hawaii certificate is true, by international law at the time he was also born British. That's the concern, and of course, the belief that he attended American Universities using funding intended for foreign students, which he also was, half-way, anyway. Half-British, half-American. They don't make cards for that status.

Don't mind me, I'm just weasel-wording my way through. Some might think I'm practicing for a leadership role.

Hi Frog Prince. I'll be voting for a Republican presidential candidate for the first time in my life--if lightning doesn't strike me first!

Historically, the performance of the economy in the third quarter of an election year has been a powerful predictor of who gets elected to the White House. Americans really do vote their pocketbooks. The Bush Recession has mutated into the Obama Recession. Psychic Larry predicts that the election will close, but that Barry will lose.

      Voted up.

My biggest contention still to this day, is Nobama is not qualified to be President of America because he is not American born! Everything about him and his wife is a huge, sealed secret. What kills me even more is appointing Czars! This is not Russia! Why hasn't he been impeached? My belief is he has insiders (czars) in his government (it's no longer ours) that make impeachment impossible. I have a feeling America is screwed as long as he continues to breathe!

Isn't there any way that the president can be prosecuted for stealing billionss of dolars from the taxpayers, hiring a bunch of crony crooks as "Czars" breaking constitutional law in a number of ways.

It's all really sad. Obama took an economic crisis and turned it into a catastrophe. He also added greatly to the destruction of our Constitution, which wasn't doing well at all to begin with after 120 years of progressive "change." To put the final nail in the coffin, the MSM is on a leash by government agencies like the FTC, so only people who read news from companies that don't own broadcast companies (companies whose licenses the feds can revoke) even know what Obama has done to us. Add to that the massive voting fraud and vote counting fraud we can expect from the Dumocrats and election commissions in blue states, and my bet is that Obama will be reelected by hook or by crook (even if he really loses the vote). This man is a sociopathic dictator, and will not give up power under any circumstance. He's subverted the federal government to the point that fealty to Obama himself is more important than duty to the Constitution. The same can be said of many Presidents, but not anywhere's near to the same degree. Even when or if Obama is sent to pasture, getting back to our Constitutional roots may be impossible, because federal government is loathe to give up any power, even if illegally obtained. "But a Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever." John Adams said that in 1775. He was a man 237 years ahead of his time.

Just last week, Obama appeared on television saying the his biggest failure was not realizing that being in the White House also meant telling people the story of unity and hope for the future. He claims that he failed to do that and now sees the mistake. He didn't fail...he didn't know that story and only thinks he knows it now. The only thing he knows is divisive politics, outright lies, and the theory that spending money, taxpayer money, is the right thing to do. We have a private sector in this country perfectly capable of creating just about anything and surviving just about any economic situation and yet he continues to look for ways to turn the bureaucrat jackboots out with tons of regulation and oppressive actions. He actually believes the government can save this way! But he has it partly right...the government can absolutely destroy it. Good stuff, Jim! UP! WB

Fro, thanks for expressing into words what most Americans are already feeling and seeing from the least experienced American President of all time.

I don't know how people can still vote for him when he can't even run on his own record. Instead he and his team are really focused on distracting the voters from their current situation.

By the way, do you do your own illustrations/art work? If so, you have a way of getting your message across that no words can express.
