Goodbye Gridlock-Hello Express Lane:President Trump hits D.C. running, which benefits U.S. (not just D.C.) Real change
So far, so good!
Just as many of us had hoped would happen, things are already getting done in our Nation's Capital!
We are so tired of press conference after press conference, Address after Address, headline after headline, "we want to get things done, we plan to get things done, we'd like to get the People's business done but...
these things take time, but...
there is a process, but...
if not for those guys over there, but...
our hands are tied...but, but, but."
Frankly we have had it with the Buts!
Um, moving along...
Yes these things take time, because John has had to check with Joe, to see if Fred will be okay with Sue having Bob sign off!
Trump, the Outsider, does not recognize John's relationship with Joe and does not care that these old buddies, old pals go way, way back.
These 'relationships' create Gridlock and gridlock must end!
Unnecessary job creation in unnecessary departments may create multiple paychecks being paid out to old buddies, old pals in D.C., but they do nothing for the Economy, outside of D.C.!
With Trump signing Executive orders resurrecting the pipelines, in what will hopefully be an expedited process, we are a step closer to energy independence, a large number of steel workers and construction workers being gainfully employed, manufacturing jobs returning and revenue creation along the pipeline routes.
You could say that with a simple stroke of his pen, ducks are put in a row and multiple birds are killed with one stone.
It's a Win-Win and since birds aren't literally killed, as is the case with wind turbines... let us throw in one more, 'Win'!
By this point, you've probably been reminded of the former President and his pen skills. Obama did pick up his pen a lot and he was quite proficient with it.
But, there is picking up a pen in order to grow the Government and there is picking up a pen in order to grow the U.S Economy!
Hear Hear for the latter form of pen stroking!
With each stroke of Obama's pen...
- Government grew and grew and grew
- With the creation of each new department, requiring the addition of new department 'Czars', all needing staffing (you get the picture?)
- Our Military experienced massive cuts. (the one area where investments needed to be made)
- Mom and Pop Businesses had to cut full-time workers to part-time, many lay-offs had to take place and many Owners had to close their doors permanently, due to mandated healthcare that they just couldn't afford! (I personally know of so many)
I'll not go on. No need. The American voter said no to big, bloated Government, so enough said!
This Adminstration has had a whirlwind start for sure....I'm going to support the man with a pen, whose getting things done for America!
If and when I feel he veers off course, he'll hear about it, everyone will hear about it.
But, the other whirlwind taking place...the emotional whirlwind that began before Trump was even sworn in, that has sent liberals over the edge, as witnessed in weekend past, is doing nothing positive for the Country.
The most repulsive, potty mouthed, crude women making a 'spectacle' during events such as 'Resist Weekend', and in multiple Marches, are the very-same that freaked out over Trump's potty mouth, crude behavior, from his past?
So much of it seemed staged!
Just an observation, all while trying to keep this with a PG rating. These nasty women are an embarrassment, not the President!
In the meantime, more Executive orders have been signed today for the purpose of cracking down on Illegal Immigration; by enforcing Laws which already exist, strengthening our borders with the addition of Border Agents, dealing with Sanctuary Cities, believing they're above the Law, once and for all and of course...the building of the Wall!
A few years ago, my daughter and her friend were in her truck, stopped at a red light and they were rear ended. A man hit them at full speed and then he fled the scene. My daughter and her friend had minor injuries, but Thank God they didn't die!
The man that hit them and then fled the scene, was caught nearby. Caught because the car he was driving was no match for the full size Ford truck that my daughter and her friend were in. There was so much damage to his vehicle that he didn't get far, he was picked up fairly close to the accident site.
Turned out...He was here illegally, he was highly intoxicated, additionally, he had no Driver's License, I.D., registration, insurance. Nada!
We had one phone call from an Attorney that said they'd try to get us some money toward the truck damage and doctor bills.
Never saw a dime.
Never received any other calls, not a letter, not a note, nothing. Nada.
My daughter and her friend survived that night and that's all that really matters!
Thank God we didn't become the Parents, as so many others whose stories are similar, but theirs included a deadly ending!
I don't know if the freewheeling, uncaring jerk spent the night in the hospital or in jail and I don't care.
I pray he was deported far, far away and I want the assurance that he'll never be able to find his way back. I am confident that President Trump feels the same.
As Trump works toward putting an end to Sanctuary cities, getting that wall completed once and for all and seeks ways to keep us all safer, utilizing a vetting system among them, (I cannot comprehend how any person can resist these safety measures) he has had many successes.
He has been at full throttle, full steam, full speed ahead, getting things done.
We quickly had a nominee sworn in as Supreme Court Justice, without any wasting of time.
Our deserving Veterans are getting the additional hospitals and doctors so desperately needed for so long.
Per Forbes, the stock market is booming, unemployment is at an all time low, the GDP had significant increases in the 2nd and 3rd quarters.
Who knows what will get done tomorrow!
Heads are spinning... in more ways than one with the current speed of things and I, for one, am buckled in and yelling, "Faster"!
