Grim Fairy Tales

Harlotte Spins Breakfast and a Tale

Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Sunday, June 23, 2019. Our creative friend, Spider Harlotte, is in the kitchen preparing breakfast and a fairy tale for our pleasure. Harlotte will be serving Homemade Cinnamon Rolls and French Lattes this morning. She will be entertaining us with a tale about the Trump Kingdom. Please join us as soon as you can. The rolls are warm and delicious and the story is unfolding.

The Castle

Trump Kingdom

Thank you so much for coming to the breakfast table this morning. The Kingdom is buzzing with excitement. The evil Dems have begun to circle the castle hoping to win the top spot in the party. The number of hopefuls is too big to measure. Everyone wants to take on the most successful president in history. Convincing the people of the Kingdom that their lives are pitiful under this King is going to be impossible. In all probability this spectacle will take on all the trappings of a circus. Let the games begin.

Send in the Clowns

Sir Bernie Sanders has kicked off his campaign. He is positively dizzy when he speaks about Medicare for all in the Kingdom. He envisions a time under his watch when healthcare will be available, free of charge, to citizens and non-citizens alike. Healthcare is a human right according to Bernie, and MS 13 gang members are human, too. Bernie doesn't realize that Medicare isn't free at all, in fact it goes up each year. Berne wants us to pay higher taxes so that the government can give us all healthcare, and we can thank the Kingdom for its largesse.

When the notion of Kingdom run healthcare comes to mind, visualize long waiting periods and inferior care. Just ask our Veterans how they fared under Kingdom control. Bernie lives in an alternate universe where illegals are wonderful, money grows on trees and capitalists are evil and in need of punishment. Perhaps a visit to Venezuela is in order. Venezuela isn't doing very well. Socialism has come to its inevitable outcome. Money is scarce, and Fido is beginning to look like a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. Perhaps Sir Bernie should offer his talents to the Venezuelans. After all, he believes he is the "last word" on doing Socialism right.

Biden Enters the Fun

Sir Joe Biden has entered the race for the Castle. He has donned his top hat and white gloves and he is ready to lie his way to the top. Sir Biden can't remember a single scandal occurring during the Obama administration. He is either in the early stages of dementia or he is counting on the stupidity of the electorate to believe him. I am quite sure that at least one of the Dems vying to be King will remind him. There is a place for Sir Biden in this Kingdom, but it isn't in the Castle. Former King Obama and his co-King Jarrett don't believe Sir Biden is King material either, and that is perhaps the most amusing thing of all. If Sir Barr handles his investigation correctly, Biden and Obama may end up in the same jail cell.

Destination Prison

The candidates are lining up ready to attack each other. How they plan on doing that will be something to behold. They all seem to agree that killing babies at birth is okay. They'll love the idea of open borders. They are blind to the catastrophe that is happening in real time at the border. They support sanctuary cities and think it is just fine to thumb their noses at the laws of the land. They believe in big government, miles of red tape and a Congress that spends days, weeks and years twiddling its thumbs. Biden and Bernie are just two of the shady characters trying to win the keys to the Kingdom. There are so many others out there but, in reality, they are all the same.

They lie like thieves. They trash America and still call themselves Americans. They don't understand the meaning of success. They are clueless when it comes to what the people of the Kingdom want, despite the fact that the people wanted Trump in the Castle. Once those that knowingly sought to unseat our leader are apprehended, charged and put away, a new dawn in the Kingdom will begin. We will be free of this batch of liars, and we will be more adept at spotting others who seek to harm us. We will have learned from our experience, something the Dems are incapable of doing.

It is going to be impossible to tell a contented electorate that they are not content. It is hard to run against success. Trump is doing a splendid job. Long live the King!

Harlotte's Song

Oh, what a tangled web we weave

When first we practice to deceive.

Sir Walter Scott

      Dear Francine,

You can't apply common sense to any of the ideas the Dems are pushing. Their platform is rooted in hatred and stupidity. None of what they are espousing is good for America or Americans. See you at the Inn.

Good morning Pop! Great blog as usual.....I could surely use one of your French Lattes right now. It surely is easy to push the idea of socialism when you have millions of dollars sitting in bank accounts. I'll be damned if I have to pay a larger increase for Medicare benefits because ILLEGALS become eligible to collect. Students no longer have to pay back their loans.....what about the ones who have already paid them? Do they get a refund?Justice and common sense have flown out the window..Save me a seat at the inn.

      Good morning Lori,

The Dems have gotten off to a ridiculous start. Harris comes across as a very angry black woman out for vengeance. Biden has ideas but no time to talk about them. Bernie is letting students off the hook from the promises they made. DiBlasio is guaranteeing jobs and free public education. On and on we go I'll take Trump again, very happily. See you at the Inn.

It's interesting how presidential campaigns and debates bring out the ugly in people and totally fracture a party. A strictly democratic debate we will see normally unified liberals bite and devour one another.

Biden explains Obama's non-support by saying he told Obama not to. Who knows but I sure am not voting for him.

I wish there were more Republicans running, although I am a strong Trump supporter despite that I dislike his rudeness and megalomania. He's doing a great job. He's fearless and bold. He's not perfect by any stretch, but then who is. I feel much safer with him in office than Bernie who is sure as poop that I would be more than happy to pay massive taxes so everything is free. High taxes do not make something free and you are right about Medicare. It sure is easy to be a self-admitted millionaire socialist.

      Good Morning AB,

It comforts me to know that you are out there. I am sure we will have plenty to talk about once this circus gets into full swing. See you at the Inn.

Hi Pop, love it...not the motley crew of Dems seeking to unseat Trump, but your creative writing! Per usual, you are preaching to the choir...perhaps in this case, I should say, preaching to the kingdom! ;)

      Dear Pamela,

The government is too big, too wasteful and too disinterested in the state of the union. Trump is doing a fine job in the midst of chaos and deception. Your ability to protect yourself from the aggravation is enviable. See you at the Inn.

POP: There will be a new comedy show on TV this week. The democratic Debate! I, for one, cannot wait to see it. Joe Biden will be reminded that his term in office was not without scandal - and his fellow Democrats will be running over him, trying to kill his chances. the next in line will be Bernie. They will mow him down, too. With, what, 25 people running, It will be such fun to watch. Just think 2 days in a row of fun.

      Loved your breakfast this morning.

I will meet you at the Inn... save me a seat...

I would certainly agree that the tale of the Dems is grim. There is so many running, and they will be slashing each other soon. I try not to watch too much news as all their ideas of socialism drive me nuts. The government has never run anything efficiently, and that is true under any president in my humble opinion.

      Pop and Harlotte,

During most of the history of the last half of the 20th century there were many times when the Democrats gave us very strong hints of their innate anti-Americanism. Since the election of 2016 the gloves are off and our greatest fears concerning these traitorous but.- heads have been confirmed.

It's going to be a fascinating election season, and it all starts soon. The Dems better get their act together soon, and rally around one candidate, or the Good Ship Lollipop will sink again. :) I wish I could say I give a shit, one way or another, but national politics have drained the "give a shit" out of me.

      Have a great week, Pop!
