Guns verses Humans

Updated on January 23, 2016

The second Amendment of the United States Constitution, says that " it is the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

Society believes that a gun is the source of the country-problems. It's not the gun it's the one who pulls the trigger.

Gun violence's in this country is a growing epidemic that has effected the lives of so many people. High power weapons have fallen into the hand of children with no morals no respect or regards for human life.

Last week 26 innocent people lives was taken by a young man standing behind a gun pulling the trigger without a conscientious.

Adam lanza was a young man who was deeply emotionally distilled he was known as a quite young man who kept to himself. His brother told reporter that his brother had a history of mental illness.

Mrs. Lanza was the owner and the purchaser of the guns that took the lives of 26 innocent people a week ago. Why would she have 2 9mm hand guns and a Ar-15 rife in her home? wkid

Arm policemen in our schools is not the right thing to do, this could affect the learning ability's of our children. There are so many reasons and theories why a tragedy like this happen, mental illness, poverty, money, job loss, depression and many others issues. All those Issues do not justify the taking of a human life. It's Time to Take guns out of the hands of Children.

As you point out the Lanza mother did not do the right thing with her guns. If I were her, had a child like Adam Lanza, and if I simply could not be without guns, I would have had ammunition locked away in a separate safe and the empty guns locked away in another separate safe. Further security might entail locking the safes in rooms that could not be accessed without a key or two. Further the only thing that the child might have known about was the fact that there was always a locked room to which no one had the key but me. He would never have known that I would have guns or ammo, let alone in separate locations, or where those locations were.

The Lanza mother did not do all that she could have to prevent her son from harming others and himself despite glaring signs proving that he was highly averse to socialization and humans in general. This may be harsh but it is clear. She should not have had guns within her son's reach and there were alternatives for her son that she should have looked into long before 26 innocent lives were taken.

The 27th victim was the mom. Not many media outlets really covered that. Perhaps in Lanza's head he thought that his mother valued the little "normal" children more than she valued him. She volunteered at the school and Lanza killed students in her class and another. There is talk about Adam Lanza finding or believing that his mother was going to try and have him committed and this is why he chose to kill his mom and 26 innocent people.

So many people ignore and disregard people like Lanza until it's too late. A lot of people prefer to talk behind their backs rather than warn others or try to find help for them. Some parents do the bulk of work for their kids and then try to push them out into the world ill-equipped to handle it. All of these things seem to be factors in the horrible Sandy Hook tragedy.

I think the school district made the correct choice in using armed security in their schools. Further, many people in the US don't know or forget that armed security in schools has been in use for many years.

I fully agree that it's time to take guns out of the hands of crazies, criminals, and children. However, as a girl saved from a burglar by one her father's guns, I respectfully disagree with limiting law abiding citizens rights to own guns. Parents need to be parents and make the hard choices that come with it. Classmates, coworkers, acquaintances, etc., must speak up when they observe odd, threatening, and violent behavior.

By disarming legal citizens, criminals, crazies, jilted lovers, and others will continue to arm themselves because they do not care about the 20,000+ gun laws on the books. While I am a law abiding citizen that doesn't go looking for trouble, I prefer not to be a sitting duck if it confronts me.
