America's ambition.

President Barack Obama's opponents are coming out so fiercely with attacks that are so unimaginatively fearful that some of us ordinary people are wondering why that is so.

They are targeting him on every thing, from the Palestinian Statehood strategy, including the Jewish vote; the Solyndra debacle; a Navy General's deposition to lawmakers.....and on and on the list continues to grow. Everything that goes wrong in Washington D.C. is his fault.

His winning a second term will shorten their lives, one may assume, because they are so afraid of "four more years" of Obama as president.

Each morning some hired political pundits, and particularly, the pollsters among them, will predict some awfully bad omen, and they will then connect it with some nefarious piece of news or information that will dishearten the public about "Obama this or that."

What they forget to realize is that, most Americans check for facts before they make decisions on what is being fed to them. However, all that they hear from most of the media these days is pure balderdash. They are rather watching how the president is doing his job and judge him from his performance.

They also know that things are hard economically, and unemployment is running high; but the opposition in the United States Congress is stopping him from getting anything done, to turn the country around. His economic and job creation plans are not going anywhere, because the Republicans will not just allow them to materialize.

In short, they want the president to fail.

Many people will agree that his work is very hard; but he will not permit himself to be a walkover. He is determined to win his reelection bid in 2012, and to finish what he has originally set out to do, to make America great again.

At the moment he has no real challenger, because his so called potential contenders have so far not proved themselves to be worthy. All they care to do is to throw mud; but that is not what the country wants.

Men and women, with clear vision, to take America to the highest level of achievement. That is what the nation is striving for; and not just mere opposition to hamper its future progress.
