Obama the Long Legged Mac Daddy

Updated on February 23, 2010

I Hate Obama The Long Legged Mac Daddy!

Now that I grabbed your attention, yeah hate is a strong word. I actually don't know anywhere near enough to hate the man. I can say that I feel disillusioned but I don't live in the States anymore and am not up on all the current events anymore. Living in the UK means that I get my stories of what life is like in the States from BBC news and the Daily Show. I do love the 'Long Legged Mac Daddy' video John Stewart plays all the time!

On this side of the pond Barack Obama still has some popularity as a symbol. I guess for the UK and Europe that is a fine thing, all he needs to be is a symbol. I wonder if the people back State side realize how much he has improved the image of America and Americans internationally. When I moved to the UK I encountered a lot of anit-american hatred and was encouraged by many people to say I was from Canada!

Now I get asked what I think about Obama. It is a matter of curiosity and speculation for Brits (at least thats my experience). I don't actually think all that much of his time in office to date, to be honest. I don't know enough about what if any effect he is having on the daily stuff of life for americans. All I can really see about the man is that he is just another politician. Useless lot! Every single one.

Obama, A Politician?

Ok now that I have shared my deep ignorance of the true effect this man is having on the american people I will share what I do see. To be honest I see a diplomat trying to please all the people all the time. I do not have a fancy degree or anything like that but I was taught that you cannot please all the people all the time. I think this is what in political terms might be considered riding the fence.

I do not see a leader. Obama, I'm sorry really but come on, be a leader! If you are going to start death panels just bloody do it! If Bush had wanted to start death panels people would already be dead by now! I hated that man, hate is not a strong enough word to express my deep loathing for him but he was a leader. Bush could lead us into a devastating war we cannot really win because of its very nature and got two terms outa it too. Obama can't even lead us into imaginary death panels? (I really can't believe that anyone takes the death panels stuff seriously)

The office of president can easily be held by a half literate red neck with all the charisma of a baboons bottom so long as they can command a good mix of fear and respect. Obama is extremely literate, oozes charisma and has experiences of the world on an international basis. This international symbol of a man cannot command the fear and respect of the political world and this has created huge media circus. What the heck is going on over there!?
