Hospitals License To Kill
What I would give to have a life of no drama, but at this point, I have to be the one causing some drama. I am not doing it for myself, but for you and your children and grandchildren.
I truly believe that hospitals are now, not only a place to save lives, but also a place to take lives. It is my opinion that is exactly what happened to my wife. When Jonda suffered distress in Barnes/Jewish St Peters, Missouri hospital, it took staff three hours to do anything to remedy the situation. My wife died of sepsis. It is my opinion that because she was on disability and 49 years old, that a "call" was made to kill her to save money. Jonda was on kidney dyalisis and her drugs amounted to thousands each month. What better way during these tough economic times to save money.
Laws have been made that say that a person with no income and had a wrongful death is only eligible for a limit of a $350,000 award. Lawmakers are trying as I write this, to lower that to $250,000. All in the name of lowering medical costs.
Do you want your loved one in a hospital with no checks and balances? That is what you are getting if yo allow your Congresspeople and Senate to allow this.
Right now, I am trying my hardest to find an attorney to handle this for us. Hospitals have the money to fight and fight, but with a limit of $350,000, there is only so much an attorney can do.
Save Your Loved Ones
The picture above is Jonda. My wife of 30 years.
The staff of Barnes/Jewish St. Peters, Missouri hospital could have saved her life, but didn't. They feel they will not suffer because of it. Will they?
To lower limits even more will guarantee more incompetence in Doctor offices and hospitals.
Wake up America!
Call and write your State representatives. Tell them how you feel.
Yea, it may lower medical costs. At least your hospital bill won't be as big when your family are burying you because the hospital gave you staph infection or overdosed you on morphine.
By the way anyone know a lawyer that may take our case? I am having problems finding one.
I totally believe that Obamacare killed my wife.
Medical reform has been a major issue, but the government takeover is NOT the answer.
Where is the government program that is helping people like myself? I now owe two funeral homes. My wife's death has put me in a tailspin. Thoughts of bankruptcy are at the top of my mind.
I know that there are many opinions on both sides, while people like myself fall through the cracks.
Doctor's, nurses and hospitals need to be liable. Maybe the answer is a central judge that wipes out attorneys all together. Hospital has no attorney and the victim has none. Much like small-claims court.
Please, write and call your reps. Do it for your loved ones. There has to be a middle ground.
