The Ultimate Power of the Committee, (Sarcasm Intended)

  1. Making decisions by committee is nearly always compromise that defeats logic and decisive action.

  2. When ‘Nothing’ needs to get done, the best way to accomplish it is by committee.

  3. To kill a brilliant idea, arrest creative thinking and eliminate positive actions, a committee is the ultimate weapon.

  4. Of all the things accomplished by committee, NOTHING is the most abundant.

  5. He who would not rule would be best to do so by committee.

  6. Have a committee determine the length of your days and eternal life is yours.

  7. At the heart of committee lies the virtue of indecision.

  8. God would not have found it necessary to destroy the Tower of Babel had He formed a committee to build it in the first place.

  9. To get something started, form a committee, to finish what you started, abolish it.

  10. To achieve tenure, join a committee where it’s the one thing that will get done.

  11. A victorious committee is one that finally decides to un-decide for that is the essence of committee.

  12. Let no man put asunder that decision which committee hath wrought. For this has never happened heretofore.

  13. If you’re worried about what’s going to take place, form a committee and nothing will.

With this in mind remember if you want to undo all the accidental progress a society has made over the years, FORM A COMMITTEE TO IMPROVE THINGS.
