How To Decide

Updated on October 31, 2012

Do you vote for the general welfare
Or only for what you care?
Do you vote as an American
Or as a selfish person?
Do you vote like an idealist
Or as a realist?
Do you vote as you live
Or as you would have others live?
Do you vote to help others
Or only your brothers?
Do you vote only for color
Or can you consider any other?
Do you vote because you like their words
Or do you question your lords?
Do you vote with maturity
Or with jealousy?
Do you vote hearing another voice
Or to limit their choice?
Do you vote for rights
Or to cause fights?
Do you vote intellectually?
Or emotionally?
Do you vote against them
Or to include them?
Do you vote for your country
Or for your misery?
