Hypocrats At It Again

Updated on August 18, 2011

Hypocrats At It Again

Granted, I do not know Governor Rick Perry from Adam, but to hear the pundits on the Far-Left and even some on the Right, like Karl Rove, tell it… that when the current Texas Governor jest that if Ben Bernanke, the current Fed Chief, were to print anymore cheap money… that it would be akin to Treason and that were the Fed Chief were also to venture down to the Lone-Star state, after increasing the Greenback, that he might be harmed. Governor Perry’s off-the-cuff remarks dominated the news circle all day yesterday, and the talking heads made it sound like the Texas governor had boasted about smashing little cuddly puppies into bits and pieces, while spewing racial and gay slurs. This is why I have coined the Democrats as being ‘Hypocrats’ because they have carte blanche in saying all sorts of disparaging remarks about Republicans and the media become taciturn, taking on the characteristics of the proverbial church mouse.

As a matter of fact, the media have parroted the talking points of the Democrats; note that Vice President Biden and Senator Kerry were the first to call the Tea Party ‘terrorists’ because the former blamed the latter for the recent budget stalemate… and note too that the media repeated the ‘terrorist’ slur in addressing the Tea Party concerning the lack of a budget agreement in Washington D.C. In the same vein, President Obama, if you pay attention, seldom addresses President Bush… as President Bush, but George Bush, while Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson and a host of others have engaged in countless slurs against their detractors without a negative word from the intrepid media. Does anyone really believe that Governor Perry meant to harm the Fed Chief or would actually bring the latter up on Treason, which incidentally, if I recalled, requires specific intent (Mens Rea).

The worst among the media are still those at MSNBC… being led by Chris Matthews, who must be having quite a fit now that Michele Bachmann is doing well in her quest for the Presidency; the other is Mika Brzezinski, who co-anchors 'Morning Joe' – she is like Paris Hilton without the sex tape. My dear mother and brother always ask me why do I watch such drivel, but I think it is because I like to hear the many sides to a given position… notwithstanding my take on said position. I know that blogs of this nature become boring per se… but I cannot let them (Hypocrats) get away with their bias… so I supposed, in a way, that I am quixotic, fighting the windmills for a modicum of objectivity.

Thanks - the truth is the truth and if we can opine in a civilze manner, better still... since we are privy to countries that do not allow that luxury.

Verily Prime, your coined term "Hypocrats" is very nice in comparison to some I've thought. (I'll not say) Of course, the MSM will try to destroy any Republican who can beat Pres. Obama. Enjoyed the read.
