Pay No Attention to New York Reenacting Capital Punishment; a Teenager Is Wearing a Red 'Make America Great Again' Hat

Updated on August 1, 2019
abwilliams profile image

Ignore the in-my-face obvious issues and lend all of my attention to unwarranted, groundless non-issues? Not happening!

Holding Court

Signing death warrants...for the preborn
Signing death warrants...for the preborn

Capital Punishment

- Conviction by a Court

- Sentenced to death

- Execution of an Offender

- A Death Penalty

The return of Capital Punishment in New York

Capital Punishment, has made its big return, in the State of New York.

No silly, it hasn’t returned for serial rapists or killers, that’s so wrong and so very inhumane and besides that.....it hurts and causes them great pain.

No, it has returned as another form of women’s healthcare!

~~~
What a rollercoaster ride we stay on here in the United States of America, with each silver lining, a looming dark cloud.
With a day of positive News, devastating News always follows.
With optimism...more worry and despair, for this Nation!
While Democratic New York Lawmakers gleefully sign a Bill, making it absolutely clear that human babies have NO RIGHTS whatsoever and are in fact, disposable as far as they are concerned, we've had an awkward teenage boy in a red Make America Great Again hat, set up and made to look as if he is what is wrong with America!
As it turns out, the group of kids he was a part of, participated in the annual March for Life, where they were surrounded by hate groups, but this young man.....not the hate groups, this young man, is the one singled out, scapegoated, mocked and threatened.
But, this is not about him!
Nice try Liberal America, but we aren't buying it.
Try as you may to convince us that this kid, the March for Life, Government shutdowns, climate change, the ”immorality“ of building a wall.....are the things which should consume us, we are on to you and your wicked, wicked ways.
When did ya'll sell your souls?
Haven't you watched any of those movies, the devil never keeps his end of the deal, he's the devil!
The Reproductive Health Act 2019
How's that for an oxymoron?
Could there possibly be a better one to have ever existed?
How's this for an argument, (words of a supporter of the bill), "abortion is a fundamental human right". Okay, what of the 2nd human in this equation, the one without a voice? What about his or her "fundamental right”?
It's almost like a contest now...Oregon has the most liberal abortion laws, we'll see about that says New York.....God only knows what Vermont is about to come with. (I should probably leave God out of this)
What's left...beyond euthanizing a full-term baby because Mom has anxiety?
What goes further than...terminating a perfectly healthy full-term baby outside of the womb, because he or she survived multiple attempts, while inside the womb?
Can that be topped?
Sure it can!
Feminists, liberals, progressives, Dems, ‘soulless‘ individuals have determined and ordained that babies aren't babies unless Mom says they are. If the woman does not wish to be a Mom, then babies revert back to (what was described to us girls back in the 70's as) "clumps of cells."
"Clumps of cells" don't stand a chance!
We were also told that for the safety of the Mom, legalized abortion was necessary, otherwise, harm could come to them, should they end up somewhere with someone other than a licensed Physician.
Guess what?
No biggie any longer! In New York, Physicians assistants and others in the medical field, may now perform the procedure.
Of course back then, we weren’t even talking about a fully formed, full-term baby. So now that is thrown into the mix, along with “someone in the medical field” possibly doing the procedure.
What could possibly go wrong?
No worries for the baby {clump of cells} Dems have deemed them worthless, but what about the woman carrying?
After all, isn’t that ‘the agenda’, making it all about the woman?
It was bad when Roe v. Wade passed, but where we have strayed with this now......is unconscionable!
Silver lining
I cannot give up on the American people any more than I could have ever given up on the life of any one of my children.
The People.....recognized a man; a Pro-America, Pro-Life, serious contender, with a get-it-done attitude that promised us he could do better for us.
We’ve seen him trying, we’ve seen many successes with him, but we’ve also seen so much ugliness and hate directed at him, as he attempts to just do his job, keep us working, protect us and keep us safe...
My point, The People have come through before, they can come through again, by firing the entire Democratic Party! The Democratic Party is no longer relevant, they are not producing (not for the people) they are just taking up valuable space and they need to go where used up stuff goes......straight to the landfill.
They are so lost and they’ve done it to themselves, they’ve entered into the Twilight Zone, taking the liberal media right along with them. Speaking of our so-called Journalists and News Reporters, they can go to the trash heap too. As far as I’m concerned, there will be no great loss, they’ll not be missed. If they are there strictly in the capacity of promoting a political party and liberal causes, then throw them out, let’s start over, get back to basics.
~~~

I will never get the images of men and women cheering the idea of taking Abortion as far as they can go, (for now) out of my head!

I know what it feels like to hold and snuggle a newborn baby and the images and thoughts of the different methods utilized to eliminate them, via death sentences, handed down by liberal, soulless Democrats, will stay with me until my dying day.

But, I also have images of good news and silver linings....

  • The March for Life event dwarfed the March for Death (aka the Women’s March) event, this year.
  • Young people are standing, marching and speaking out for Life!
  • The younger generation sees abortion for what it is and not as something which was sold hard to generations of us before, ingrained in us and justified.

Now if we can just get through to the younger generation that socialism, also promoted by the dastardly Dems, must be seen for what it is, and not glossed over and justified as something other than what it really is.

Another subject for another day.

      Soooo...I just heard the Governor of California, Gavin Newsome make the following statement:

      "Do we have the right to kill?"

      He is prepared to TAKE ACTION, not to stop the killing of innocent babies, but rather, to stop the killing of murderous adults, in California, currently on death row.

      (I get the arguments of those opposed to capital punishment, ex: there's the possibility that a small percentage of them are innocent) My argument, aren't ALL babies innocent and yet...

      what is the percentage of this particular group of humans...being killed daily?

      Yes, "not such good things" is an understatement Eric.

      We are asked by the left to throw a kid under the bus for wearing a MAGA hat, while defending the adult bullies which surrounded him, many spewing vile stuff...all while we are also asked to accept abortion on demand, even post birth.....ugh...I can't even write such a thing without getting a chill down my spine and sick to my stomach!

      This is today's Democratic Party!!!

      Interesting article

      1. Grown men accosting high school boys.(technically it was an illegal assault)

      2. Abortion up to birth.

      3. And then censorship.

      Not such good things.

      So Virginia, has beat out Vermont....hmmm, I didn't see that one coming.

      At least when Rep. Tran (D) makes her case for abortion after dilation has occurred, she seems to choke on the vile in her throat for about a nanosecond.

      We have something similar here Shannon, called 'Do the right thing'.

      I love to listen to talk radio, while at work, but when there's too much bad news...off goes talk radio, on goes Country music or some smooth Jazz, that always settles me down. That and meditation and writing and deep breathing .....lol

      Thanks! :)

      There's a segment on one of our local news stations called "Tell Me Something Good". Whenever you need a lift, look for something like that. :) Stories of good in the North Texas area help restore my faith in mankind.

      Is there a better explanation than they've made deals with the devil, they've sold their souls? If there is a better explanation for pure evil, I'd certainly love to hear it.

      Also, I sure could use a little good news today! In fact...I'd prefer that.

      I am thanking God for another day of Life! Have a great week friends!

      Nothing here since "She Held the Moon in Her Hands," whatever day that was. I think it was almost two weeks ago now. I have plenty of ideas, some of them started. I've just been so busy with work and personal things. I have published some things on a couple of other sites I run, though.

      Meant to tell you that I did read Vivian's article. It's also well presented but with no ads. and at least maybe you can take comfort in the fact that HP isn't just targeting you, rather the subject matter.

      Hi Vivian, I understand not wanting to to make money off of sensitive subjects.

      As you stated, this could be the perfect opportunity for Christian organizations, Pregnancy centers, etc . to place ads, not to make money, but rather to help/assist women not knowing where to turn.

      Shannon, if there are rules about the subjects that I choose to write about being off-limits, I missed them.

      Thanks for your support.

      Isn't HP in control? Or maybe not. I know that I can choose what kinds of ads are shown on my website, but I don't know if advertisers get to choose article content. I suppose you make sense, Vivian, but it does seem like a bit of a double standard. I mean, there are plenty of other sensitive subjects that do ads.

      I just wrote an article on the new abortion law also. Even though Hubpages allowed it to remain published and featured, ads for it were disabled. Due to the "sensitive nature" of this subject, advertisers avoid it. It's hard to believe there aren't Christian organizations out there willing to place ads on pro-life articles, or maybe Hubpages never tried to find any.

      You can't possibly make that topic fluffy (not even with a pretty packaged bow on top) any more than you fluff up leaving a kitten buried in snow in a cage on the side of the road (I saw a picture of that on FB the other day).

      To answer your question, though, I do not see anything in particular that stands out. This article was much like your other ones in that you clearly stated your thoughts and opinions without trying to pick a literal fight with people. Is there something in the "rules of appropriateness" that states you can't write about politics or abortion? Seems I recall other people mentioning that their political ads are being targeted. I rarely read political articles, however, so I can't attest to that with certainty. I just like your humor and though there's nothing at all funny about this topic, what you said needs to be said so I read this one.

      So true and I know my readers would certainly prefer that. :)

      If it weren’t for that little thing called ‘principle’, I’d just let it lie, but letting things lie is not typically in my DNA.

      Is there a word, a phrase that sticks out to you that a Moderator would have a problem with?

      I was so careful to use discretion, so I chose not to describe what happens to a baby, during an abortion.

      I didn’t show any pictures of it....

      Since anyone can perform an abortion these days, why not go back to the old fashioned clothes hangar method? "Reproductive Health Care"--who sits around thinking of these fluffy names for heinous acts? I'm tired of these nut jobs trying to coin new phrases to make sin sound better so they can eliminate their guilt and try to trick others into accepting it.

      I'll never forget a phone call I got out of the blue one summer. Someone I knew in college who left because it turned out it wasn't really in her best interest to be where she didn't really want to be. Basically, she was at that particular school to please someone else. But while she was there, I used to invite her to a group that gathered every week to worship in the basement of the dorm. She'd always turn me down and say maybe next time.

      Well, when the phone call came she explained that she was calling to thank me because, as it turns out, my persistence was God's way of speaking to her. Apparently, she'd had an abortion and had been unable to forgive herself. Then she had a dream that placed her in Heaven where she could talk to a deceased loved one and to her unborn child. Long story short, she learned that she had to forgive herself in order to go forward.

      I don't know if she still is, but when she married she and her husband were active in church as youth group and worship leaders. She has an amazing voice. We were never close and we don't really talk now, but it's a story I can't forget. I just can't imagine living with regret like that. I've had some regrets that got me down for longer than they should have, but that one is a real doozy.

      Shannon, women who have had abortions, almost always deeply regret doing so. Decades ago (when I was in school) adults they looked up to, were telling them it wasn't a big deal, there wasn't anything there...not really and no harm was done if they wanted to just "get rid of it". (I heard those words repeated throughout middle school and high more than I care to remember) (it really did become birth control for the sexually active ones)

      No Activist would have ever considered the long term ramifications, that was irrelevant in the whole scheme of things.

      Something else about it that is sad, besides the obvious, is that many women who have already had abortions deeply regret it. Maybe not right away, but sometime down the line. And here these women stand proudly celebrating with no real understanding of the long term consequences if they change their minds. Well, they can't because it's too late.
