Real Talk surviving Homelessness - Love & Humanity Novel

Updated on October 23, 2014

Being Poor

The detrimental aspects of doing without, living in poverty, and in an out right as well as degrading most decrepit state of existence is what many people face today. Surviving such a harsh condition is primarily going to be the focus of this article, and it will in no means attempt to benefit off of the backs of those who are currently out there starving, no this article is one of pure and utter strength to hit at those people who need it most, and it primarily will lead folks deep into the core of their existence on earth in many of the well know situations we deal with daily & nightly.

I am Alive! I am a person who has survived countless moments of shear deprivation, and I live to this very day to give testimony to this truth, that we all are living a lie today. When I say all, I mean that of so-called civilized people, we have been fooled to believe that life isn't worth living, we have been told that the earth is made for mankind, and all the precious things on it is primarily for our taking, our control, and at our disposal. (I was homeless 3 times in my life and still survived it.)

The Ill's of Luxurious Life

Well, I don't wanna bust your luxurious bubble's, but I'm sorry to say that this is all a huge fallacy. The television is a tool of deception for the ignorant minded (Commercialism), and that of a massive one, the media molds our minds into whatever trends they choose and see fit for the masses to run off onto, and into the many varying tangents. The internet is a mega portal of all of these differing distorted mostly fictional realities and things combined, but it has a very small control element & overall freedom factor of attachment to it all.

Neither TV, nor the media has full control over or a firm grip of the Internet though, and so we all bear witness to the ultimate riskiness of purely chanced online virtual opportunities, that many jobless people may have been forced to fall victim to.

Now at the same time, even more shear deception is continuously taking form and shape on so many astronomical levels, because none of us truly know where it all leads to. Even if them cool looking attractive ads may promise us big money pay outs & gimmicky illusive rewards the results 9 times out of 10 are all the same. Loss of precious time invested, and the potential loss of life for not being able to survive the harsh reality of having nothing to fuel ones internal systems.

Its up to us to decide whether or not we are too accept these forms of programming, to activate them into our daily lives, and or to accept it as being a ruling to conduct all of our business transactions, or daily motions, and what have you.

For heaven sakes, we plug into these things to get out of it whatever we can revenue streams of dollars and cents or not, but the thing is however. Humanity is losing the survival battle in the process as a whole, because many people have failed to totally assimilate themselves into this sort of new world matrix of sorts. Where humans are not only connected to and wired in to these digital new world devices, we also have become addicted to them, spending almost 100% of our work as well as free time on cell phones, with mobile gadgets and devices in our hands, but also we haven't yet learned of ways to balance any of it out for the most part. Lets not even go there, and talk about when we get home (If we have one, or at the library), to simply dive head first deep into our online lives and prison states for our eyes, fingers, and mouse clicks while remaining virtually absent from family life and true reality altogether.

Thought's on Starvation today!

Starvation is imminent and utterly inevitable for many people who have turned 100% cyber space dependable, because as soon as something goes wrong in that of any of their networking revenue streams, well if that's their only dependency of means of earning a living, well then its lights out for them, and including myself "I am no exception to this rule".

Starving due to Cyber Life causing real life to fall apart -

How does one survive on cyberspace alone, well there are many methods today to become a Billionaire in this cyber land they call the internet. The first thing is you must earn yourself rank here, and anywhere for that matter, which also equates to web rep.

Once you have managed to join any of the 1000's or even 1,000,000's of socially adapt networking locations the web has to offer, you must grow a following there in order to exist on the wavelength of earning potential, by means of social influence. Also referred to today as having "Klout", and as a Facebook networking genius you may find it very tough to do so, since everyone and their Mama is trying to do the same simultaneously it seems today.

Now if any of these connections as a whole seem to instantly wither away, then your facing social dooms day, and it may also spell issues for all of your revenue streams & especially if you've been marked as a spammer or person of malicious intent for what ever reason. This will mean that since you cannot get a job already, and you cut off all your cyber lifelines (Since the Google & Facebook police caught wind of it) by being a digital dingbat, well there really is no other options it appears today, Right! or is there some other way out!! "If you find another way out of this silly Matrix reality they call the internet, please call me @ 1-800-Get-Real." (Darn Fictitious Number's)

The Corporate Collapse

One thing I know is that when everyone is solely dependent on one particular given system, and when that massive forever rolling ball of insecurity comes tumbling down, and that mega huge financial bubble of a dream suddenly burst out of its orbit up in wall street, cyber street, or wherever the monies are being kept under digital lock & key today. The financial system will begin to hiccup, and when I say that I mean in a huge way, like a tremendous unpredictable earthquake that started as a very minute tremble, to then Richter off the charts.

This is the very unsafe yet utterly tensile truth today, because all levels of stress related situations have somewhat been fused together, since we're all connected today like New York Telephones commercial use to say. Well, its here and now, and the world is truly in for a rude awakening, and way worse then when the financial systems of the stock market had collapsed, way back in 2008 and just soon after President Barrack Obama had been elected into that unbearable office, up at the White House.

The Pooridge States of America

Today's world and dealing with the state of the Poor, the fact of people having to find new digital alternatives to survive as opposed to working on the ground (Vast wide spread unemployment worldwide), is what has reshaped things to become even more dependent on a single given system. This poses a grave threat to the entire existence of that of the entire human race, but you cannot tell any financial expert that today, nor try to sway the minds of those corporate leaders, they will not budge at all, because they all know such a truth that does indeed exist.

So instead of trying to fix it all, which will cost trillions of dollars, they will play as if they're in the movie Alice in Wonderland, and keep digging much deeper and deeper down that huge vacant lonely rabbit hole of a already destitute place, and we bear witness to our most inevitable future on planet earth, which is complete and utter global starvation.

I 'm sorry to lay it all to you in these terms, but it is what I see coming down the pipes, and virtual slopes if and when something unrepairable, and irreversible happens to our communications systems, which actually is the only thing that's holding the fabric of our very existence together as a somewhat barely functioning global economy.

This global economic threat is not to be taken lightly by no one, because we all know if we have ever been down and out, just for a single day, and out of luck like some stupid gambler who just lost all of his inheritance at a place like Vegas, even he or she knows what's right up their alley and also up ours coming ahead if humanity doesn't wise up in time. This is yet another reason why all of the corporate, large business, and small businesses have been pulling so much slack (Firing so many employees).

When the very next massive financial collapse occurs if it does in fact happen again (Let's pray that it doesn't), I do believe that all hell is going to break loose, and if people aren't prepared to survive that sought of reality, well then I'm praying for us all to still be alive, breathing and well enough to live yet another day, to write yet another article, book, or short story all about it all, if indeed its on its way. I do know how to survive, and I am still alive to testify to that. How about You!

Any and all comments are acceptable below, thanks for sharing a moment with me, and all of us here at hubpages, this is a reality we all face, and lets pray it never arrives.

Web Inspiration of the Month of September 2012

Thanks Faithreaper for that cool poem you wrote about a while back, you motivated me to get this hub out of me, and it was a true inspirational writing indeed. Her cool poem is entitled "Live Life As Though There Is No Tomorrow".

Her poem is superbly written, and I highly recommend folks to read it, because if you have or choose to do so, it will supply the answers to this issue I just presented here in my hub. We all can survive today, but we need each other to do it, and bonding together like this digitally is one sure way to make moves towards reversing much of the harm already done to us all.

I see the electronic technology we are so often tied to as no more than another tool. No different, really, than a car, cordless drill, or microwave oven. While I use the technology on a daily basis there is nothing that I can't get along fine without. I already have, for most of my 60+ years.

I'm not so sure, though, and the younger generations could. As you say, they are bound very firmly to that technology and without it they would be hard pressed to avoid homelessness. The level of physical skills is decreasing in our society, just as the level of knowledge is growing.

      Hi CloudExplorer,

I just noticed you added a mention here that I did not notice the first time I read this great hub. Thank you dear one. The two pieces I have written that actually deal with homelessness are "Unseen By Choice" and "Meet Me at the Corner of Lost and Faith."

Keep fighting that good fight of faith!

I appreciate you. You are an inspiration to all dear one.

God bless. In His Love, Faith Reaper

Thank you @Thundermama, I'm not really afraid at all I'm just saying that I will be prepared for the worse if things indeed get to such a inevitable point, and especially if we all continue of the current path that most societies on this precious globe are currently following, you know.

@healthylife2, I did indeed answer and respond to your hub comment, but I have no idea what happened here, but oh well here's yet another.

Thanks for adding your perspective on things, I have a positive attitude about things as for us potentially surviving anything that comes our way, mainly because human beings have always found ways to adapt to any given situation, and no matter how difficult it may appear.

I just hope such a thing as global starvation never ever gets a chance to see the light of day, and I'll do everything in my power to help people to prevent from such a reality to dawn of us all.

Prayer is definitely one way I will be tackling it all and besides writing like this.

What a refreshing hub. I too am scared about the future and see the writing on the wall. I am fortunate enough to live in a small village in Canada of like minded people who are finding ways to pull away from the untruths being pushed down our throats and reconnect with each other. Change is a foot, but unfortunately most people are reluctant to change. All any of us can do is speak the truth and reach out to one another. Yours is the voice of awakening and change.

Hi there @MarleneB, oh yes indeed many of us have been through the turn cycle sort of speak, and mainly when it comes to having economic hardships come to home base.

Its quite disheartening to see whats been going on within the past 12 or so years in America, we are slowly but surely losing everything we earned the rights to have, which mainly is the means to making a decent respectable living, and if things don't get better soon, It may never ever get back to a state of normalcy.

I will be praying that people can learn to work together, and no matter who becomes president, or who gets in office, because we are in a current state of chaos today and on all levels, and stability is needed in a huge way for sure.

Thanks for commenting, for reading, and for sharing your thoughts with me, being honest as you've done is definitely a step in the right direction, and maybe many of us hubpages authors can help make a difference in this world, and in due time we will all see for sure.

Pure honesty - the truth as raw as it can get. Well told, CoudExplorer, well told. I know what it is like to face homelessness, as I myself have faced that reality of life. Because of my experience, I have an affinity toward doing all I can to help those who are homeless and who need food for survival. It is the one mission I cater to with all my heart. I am really frightened at the way things are falling down in this country. I can only hope that the eyes of everyone would be opened to the world as it is and what the world WILL become unless people make a move to actively change direction and put people in leadership positions that will truly be beneficial to us all.

According to the media unemployment is improving but that is not how it appears. Many are still without jobs and entire countries are bankrupt which is a huge threat to our economic security. If we knew how to really run this country there would not be any homeless people and 1% would not have 99% of the wealth. Although we can't help everyone we can still contribute by donating food and clothing and helping in any way possible. I know this is a place to be politically correct but honest words are always so refreshing. Voted up!

The Hub speaks volumes of your honesty and truthfulness for saying it out loud about an issue that exists and needs to be addressed . You are absolutely right in saying that the whole economic fabric should be taken care of especially for the people who are dependent on the cyberspace earnings before it gets too late ultimately leading to some disastrous results.

I also appreciate your effort of opening our eyes towards a threat which most of us has never paid heed to. Thanks to the commercialism and certain well painted pictures of a perfect life by the media :(

Voted up and much more, Sharing as well !!!

@ChristyWrites, yes indeed the Media knows how to play the game very well, and they've helped to craft a wicked place indeed with all the plastic coded reality coverage they showcase all the time, the negative fear raging new coverage, and the likes, but we collectively shall triumph over all wrong doings in due time for sure.

@Faith Reaper , life is tough at times and when mankind tends to make things even more difficult for us all, well yup it is what it is shortly thereafter, and over time we all tend to suffer in some sort of way.

Someone will always have to play the clean-up person, someone will always have to be the public servant, play the judge & jury, act out the very unfortunate role of the victim, and also play the spiritual guide of many societies world wide, and so yup I sense in you many of these characteristics as well.

Thank you faith for doing your part for humanity, and for being such a powerful writer in your own right as well, who writes from the heart.

Hi dear one, I just got in a little while ago, and read your comment back to me. God bless you. Yes, I am glad you are inspired to share your story here, which will be very profound. I write non-fiction - 99% of the time, as that is what I have experienced and know all too well, so I have my own inside view and the real-deal persepctives. I have only touched on the top of the iceberg yet in writing her on HP. My writings will not say the homeless on the title, but once one begins to read, you will know. To me, as I may have stated before, if we are still "alive" on this planet, there is a reason, and that is to love ALL others and actually use our feet and hands to do so. Even in the smallest manner, give a bottle of water to someone you know is thristy. Give someone a blanket if they are cold, or a place to stay if they have no place! We are talking about other human beings - real people - on the streets of America - which blows my mind. I have never been able to understand it and never will. The big food corporations throw out food everyday. I hate to sound like a broken record, but each of us can do something, at least one little thing daily, if even just a kind word. I have been praying that He will reveal the truth to us, and that He will open our eyes and that we actually see a human being who is lost and help them, even if in the smallest manner. When that happens, the world will be a much better place. But greed takes over one's heart . . . then it's me, me, me, first. God bless you. In His Love, Faith Reaper

@Pavlo Badovskyy, yes man we are fighting for the justice, the rights, and quality for all human being today, and I have joined the battle for the long haul, both me and Bill have differing approaches to it all, but one common goal which is to help people wake up, snap out of their deep slumber, and to do something with their lives for once, and something productive rather then just accepting that of a miserable existence that's constantly being served to them on a nightly and daily basis. Thanks for your cool comment.

    • CloudExplorer profile image

@billybuc, oh yes Bill both of us are very similar in ways, and we seldom choose the same sort of topics to aim target at, with a blunt enough worded force to open up the clouds. I do believe if enough of us continue to make it rain like this on the web, the world will have no choice but to respond to us.

We mean business, and we are not joking around when it comes to the injustices on this planet, this is what the Super friends truly are as for hubpages is concerned, the true justice league of writers, with common bonds in fair moral, orderly conduct, love, and that of humanity having a far chance to survive.

Thanks bro for dropping in as you do quite often to supply some very useful, yet appealing and relevant feedback on this issue of homelessness.

@lrc7815, oh yes I did my best to hit the ball out the park per say with this hub here, because being homeless isn't pretty, I was with my family before & my mother was pregnant at that, this happened back in 1993.

I survived such a terrifying condition, my mom got breast cancer out of the stressful ordeal, poor eating and all, so she passed away back in the year 2006 towards the end.

I attribute much of it to this harsh condition we had to face, besides the fact that she had poor nutrition and all, but the sledge hammer was dropped for sure when she had to hit the streets as a pregnant woman with 3 other growing young boys. What an experience that was to survive, to live it, and to tell all about it.

@fpherj48, hi there, I figured why not I infuse the whole truth of what many of us are truly going through today in this more technological form of social disorders & utter chaos.

I do know that those whom were in power within the last 2 decades or so are all responsible in some way for these problems we have today, and directly responsible. There is an end to it all for sure, and justice shall be served from the highest order of that of the Divine! This I do believe.

Oh yes indeed @DS Duby, we are in for a rude awakening, and those folks who are on the top that think things are all honky dory have no clue what they have caused.

I hope it back fires on them if and when it happens, because none of them deserve to be in power today, all the harm that's already been caused by their shear negligence, corporate greed, and out right evils

Yes indeed greed is always going to be here for sure @always exploring, I think however that love will champion and conquer it some day, but I just hope to be here when such a day arrives, because the control factors that greed wields against humanity is unacceptable.

@Faith Reaper, thanks for the cool comment, when I was homeless many years back the very first time was with my mother and my family. I was in high school and it was dead winter, and very cold. She was pregnant with my youngest brother, so you can imagine the difficulty it was for us to handle such a unkind, and unbearable reality.

Now as for the reason we ended up homeless, I will have to place that all into a hub of its own, because it surely is a long story, and one worth writing about indeed.

Thanks for being so caring to others besides yourself & your own family Faith. I can sense you truly have a genuine giving as well as caring heart for all of humanity, because your inspirational writings has prompted me to get this hub out of me.

Our civilization is balanced on a shredding tight rope and it's only a matter of time till it all come tumbling down taking everyone with it. To be homeless and hungry in America is unthinkable to me. Greed is alive and well. The wealthy rule the enonomy. Soon the middle-class will cease to exist unless we dramatically change the system. We can help by living within our means. The credit card, what a deceiver. Very good article. Enjoyed..

We all need to work together to help fix this world or else we may be in for such a rude awakening that we've never experienced as human beings on this planet ever before, especially if we continue on the current course of direction we've been leading.

What a refreshingly honest hub here to say the least!!! Thank you for sharing your innermost thoughts here with us. I know all too well about those pangs of hunger in one's stomach, so that is why I make a point of serving in the areas of the downtrodden or homeless and have written about such here. One nevers knows what one's neighbor is going through, although they may not be "homeless" but they may very well be hungry. There is no reason for any child in this country, especially, to go hungry. No reason at all. We are to be about our Father's business in being His hands and feet. That is the reason we are still "alive" on this planet. Voted Way Up, except funny. In His Love, Faith Reaper
