If 9/11 did not happen

Updated on October 26, 2010

Remember 9/11. When two planes, controlled by terrorists, flew right into the Twin Towers in New York. That was when the whole nations realized that the American was being attacked by terrorists. Every media was on that disaster on that day. Covering the story in live coverage. Everyone around the world was watching the horrific scenes. People running, screaming, people burnt, people jumping off the twin towers; it was disturbing to view. You cannot do anything but watch and ask why? Why is it happening now? Why would they such things to innocent people?

The more questions we ask about the events in 9/11 the clearer the answers were. The media notified that an Islamic terrorist group called Al-Qaeda and their leader Osama Bin Laden, were behind the attacks. The US President George Bush Jr, at the time, started the war on terrorism and wanted to stop all terrorist groups and cells that was associated with Al-Qaeda. Then America went to war in Afghanistan in search of Al-Qaeda and Bin Laden. Now only did America had a war on terrorists, Americans had a domestic problems. Hatred of Muslims in the US started to mount among people. No one felt safe anymore. Travelling by plane is not safe anymore. The nation's security is telling people that its dangerous out there and that everyone should be on a look out. This was not only referred to in the US but throughout the world.

Imagine if 9/11 did not happen. The twin towers would still be standing today. The World Trade Center. Its one of the tallest building in New York. 110 floors and once your at the top you can see the whole of New York. Due to the attacks, a famous building and an important piece of New York was destroyed.

If 9/11 did not happen, there would not be any war in Afghanistan. There would not soldiers dying. There would not be any soldiers leaving to go to war. Until today, soldiers from all over the world are still fighting, shooting, and killing. People would like to know when is it going to be over. When are the soldiers going to be home. War on Terrorism is what they are fighting for. Capture all the terrorists. If 9/11 did not happen there would not be any war on terrorism. Its the 21 century and governments should not scare people which terrorists groups are dangerous. We all know terrorists are all dangerous but point out which are which is just scary.

There would not be any scared of insecure when they go out of their homes if 9/11 did not happen. There would not be any hatred among Muslims and the Islam faith, not only in America but all over the world. Once 9/11 happened Muslims in American were the target. They were discriminated and looked down. The hate towards Muslims were serious.

Aviation would be better around the world. It would not be hard to board planes. We do not need to strip all our clothes off, throw away our drinks, carrying lighters if your a smoker, or taking off your shoes would not be a problem. We would all enjoy our flight without no problems and without any insecurity inside the plane. That's if only 9/11 did not happen. Ever since 9/11, the rules of Aviation changed. Airports and airplanes need to have tight security and safety.

Other than that, if 9/11 did not happen, George Bush would actually be one of the greatest US President other than Richard Nixon or even his father George Bush Sr. Bush had high hopes for a new being with him taking command. Although, most would dislike Bush as US President, he had plans that would make a better US nation and he feared nobody. Since 9/11 happened, he ordered war on Afghanistan, war on terrorism, raised the national security color, put on his war face on, go against Bin Laden and let the weapons speak because there is no time for peace.

Overall, if that day of 9/11 did not happen. then we would have the problems that we still face today. We would not have blood sheds, no people dying, no hatred, no killings, no shootings, no terrorism, no war, no insecurity. We would all be fine and safe. We would all be going to work without worrying on what's going to happen. We would trust our government and our leaders, and we would all live our lives. However, 9/11 happened. the effects still haunt us today and the 9/11 tragedy lives among us that witnessed it happen. Where ever we go and what he do, its always there and it has effected how we live and since then, the effects of 9/11 still produces problems with our future which is endangering our daily lives.

If those 15000 explosions didn't happen imagine all the extra material!

We would likely have had parcels of the ANW opened for drilling while we focus stronger on solar panels which the government would subsidize them for mass consumption.

People would have more time to focus on not politicalizing Global Warming instead of No War on Iraq.

With 15,000 less explosions think about all the materials that would still be here instead of wasted in all those needless explosions.

Who is the evil? Americans or the Islamic terrorists and where the Islamic terrorism came from?

Stop the non-sense that the Islamic terrorism has nothing to do with Islam, I lived under Iran occupied by the Islamic terrorists and telling you, Islam is the evil.

Islamic terrorism has roots in Koran and Sharia, any violence against the non-Muslims even killing their women and children and enslaving them are justified in Islam.

And I completely agree with Rachel's comment that Jimmy Carter is responsible for 9/11 and the rise of terrorism

So hard to believe there are still people out there who think Muslims did it. Americans have been brainwashed and propagandized to the extreme.

you might also add that the Taliban didn't do this, ........Radical Muslims did this, they got their incentive from radicalizing the Koran! These were Muslims and they did this out of religious hatred!...........so lets imagine if there were no Muslims...........over 15000 less explosions over the past 20 years across the world!

Your Hub has some major inconsistencies that should be addressed. For starters there were four planes crashed that day, not just the two that hit the World Trade Center, and the War on Terrorism didn't start on September 11th 2001, it started a month later. President Bush gave Afganistan one month to locate Osama Bin Ladin and turn him over to us, Operation Enduring Freedom began on October 7th, which was four weeks after 9-11.

Next, since you live in Greece, and are from the Philipians it is easy to see where you would think that the poor innocent muslims are so mistreated by us evil Americans but that is not the case if anything you might have to strip naked and take off your clothing in the airports because people every where and not just Americans are doing everything to bend over backward and kiss the buttes of people who want to kill us, namely those Muslims that you think are so mistreated.

Doubtful that President Bush would have been cast as anything but a villian no matter what. The Libs don't want to admit that the worst President ever is Jimmy Carter, who is soon going to be ranked the second worst by the man who is currently in office.

But I think the biggest issue I have with your Hub is the fact that you paint 9-11 as though it were all our (Americans) fault. We didn't start this war with terrorism, we didn't fly planes into buildings and kill almost three thousand innocent men women and children. All we did was respond as any nation would that had been attacked. So try next time when you are thinking about writing what a wonderful world this would be if only 9-11 hadn't happened to remember who the real villians here are, the Muslims that if they succeed in taking down America will be coming after Greece next. (That is if they haven't already destroyed Greece).
