Iran Can Create Its Own Nagasaki Bombs

Updated on December 17, 2012

A new report now seems to indicate that Iran is able to create the "basic" atomic bomb along the lines of those in size used on Japan in 1945. Tehran can manufacture plutonium bombs without building a large plutonium reactor like the one under construction at Arak. This would mean that up to 220 pounds of plutonium can be made by extracting plutonium from fuel rods. Iran conducted such a test back in October when they removed 136 fuel rods from the reactor and then reinserted them in November. This rapid extraction of weapons-usable plutonium from spent fuel rods is a straightforward process and can be done in a small area, the kind at Arak.

This, if true, would allow Iran to create 20-24 small atomic bombs. Also, it would also mean the end to any meaningful nuclear talks on Iran's part for obvious reasons. Even if Iran was able to produce 1-3 such bombs (and no one knows if they already have) this is still a game changer. Fact is, the whole negotiations with Iran to try to prevent this has been a joke on the US. Despite sanctions and other cyber attacks, Iran continues on.

It was only inevitable it would end this way.

We saved a million American lives by finding a way to avoid invading mainland Japan that declared war on us. Go F yourself. You seriously need to move out of this country.

That's true it can but the only problem is that we were the only ones who threw it in Nagasaki and Hiroshima. So let's not distort history. The Iranians have the presumption, we unfortunately have the EXPERIENCE!
