Iran Readies for Regional War

Updated on December 6, 2011

Whether it is hype or not, the slow buildup and simmer of Middle East is starting to churn in a slow boil. Between Dec. 10 and Jan 15, 2012, military action, probably originating from Israel will begin. The recent capture of the US RQ-170 drone with stealth technology also is worrisome. It seems the drone was flying along the Iranian border when Iranian somehow jammed the signals of US controllers and took control of the drone. It was upon landing that the drone was lightly damaged. It was not shot down. Iran's Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has placed the Revolutionary Guards on a war footing according to British intelligence. They are now relocating many of their conventional long range missiles and are prepared to counterstrike Israel. Air defenses are also on high alert with rapid response teams. The Iranians have used ECM successfully before in 2006 when a Hezbollah chinese anti-ship missile had overcome an Israeli ship's defenses with the help of Iranian ECM from nearby radar.

Under the title "How Israel Should be Destroyed," this book was awarded the best book prize at the Khorassan book fair when it was first displayed there on Thursday, Dec. 1. Written by several authors, it details how Muslims should destroy and kill Jews. Also, Netanyahu announced his Likud party would hold elections, including primaries, before January 31, 2012 - two years before schedule and a year before Israel's next general election. This is VERY odd because he is under no pressing domestic need of a demonstration of leadership at this time. Adding to all this pre-war buildup, both Russia and US have naval task forces sitting off the coast of Syria for not particular reason-yet.

Syria, despite all of its mayhem, recently conducted live military exercises demonstrating their ability to use and aim their large conventional missile inventory. It was a deliberate show of force for Israel to see.

All of the events point to the worse case scenario erupting and perhaps the beginning of what the Bible's Book of Revelations calls "Armageddon". All we can do it watch and wait.

Don't you like freedom? Iran has the right to preach anti-Jewish sentiments...

And their intentions? You really think that they can just kill all Jews?

the US only does so if all else fails, we all know this. if iran would simply refrain from anti Jew comments and their intentions, none of this would be happening.

This improbable situation is not in some fairytale book written over a thousand years ago. Instead of sitting here writing blogs about the coming end of days, why don't you spread word that the US does not invade nations anymore. We want peace. DIPLOMACY. NOT WAR.
