Iranian Kamikaze Drones Threaten Israel
Several years ago, when the first American RQ-170 spy drone had been shot down or hijacked via GPS disinformation by the Iranians, it provided a treasure trove of information to them. Much of that information ended up in their home built drones that have become quite sophisticated, so much so, that the 25 drones used to attack Saudi oil assets from Yemen, mostly hit their targets and were not detected.
Now, Iran has announced that it has its own "kamikaze" drones that can fly at speeds up to 900 km per hour at an altitude of 12,000 meters AND have a range of 1500 km with a payload. These drones can stay aloft for several hours.
Iran has realized something that Hitler did back in 1940 with his V-1 rocket drones that terrorized London for weeks as hundreds were sent. These flew so fast that aircraft or ground fire could not intercept them very often. When the V-2 arrived, the payload was much greater and with great impact. Like then, Iran has decided it could mass produced these and blitz them to targets over Israel. They are far cheaper to make than aircraft and missiles. Their Ababil-3 and Karar drones are their most used since both have near pinpoint accuracy and have a bomb payload.
Their latest, the Karar, and it is a strategic drone and has been used like a kamikaze missile. These are armed with some type of smart bomb or guided missile technology. Many of their drones have now been sent to the Iranian base, T-4, inside Syria. From there, they are used against Israel. Hezbollah has also been given drones to use against Israel.
With over 5000 deaths from the virus inside Iran, the government is showing the world that its desire to destroy Israel continues.
