Is it Time to Wake Up America?

“When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,—That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government…”

That is the opening to the Declaration of Independence. Remember that thing?

It is time fellow Americans to stand and be counted and to demand that this current abomination of an administration be voted out, and if it means we start from scratch, then let it be done! I am talking about the Obama administration, the House and the Senate – Republicans, Democrats, “Progressives”, radical socialists, communists -- throw them all out, start from scratch but FIRST institute term limits so as to never revisit an administration such as we have in absolute power right now—ever again. Full blame can not be placed, however, on this administration alone. Those who have taken the power away from the citizens by remaining in office for decades also must take some responsibility.

Yes, I did say absolute power, because that is what this administration seeks and that is what they are going to get if Americans from the grass roots level on up do not stop them.

To be clear -- I am talking about a PEACEFUL take-back of our government and our schools. I do not wish physical harm nor do I advocate physical harm come to anyone who holds elected office or otherwise. I advocate this be done by peaceful, legal measures.

How did America let this get so far out of control? Never in my life-time did I ever believe I would hear a president not only stand before the American people and repeatedly blame the previous administration for all the ills and wrongs the new administration itself created. It gets worse! That in and of itself is utterly infantile and beneath the station of the office of President. But we have the President of the United States essentially telling grass roots groups of organized dissenters to shut up and “get out of the way” because the majority of them disagree about his one payer health care overhaul plan. I thought that when the President takes the oath of office he was there to help protect the rights of ALL the people, even the ones who disagree with him! Silly me!

Yesterday, we have the President arrogantly and on the attack blaming “Special Interest Groups” for blocking health care reform that “we need”, while SPEAKING AT A UNION RALLY. One of the largest special interest groups in the nation!

We have a President’s administration calling dissenters “domestic terrorists”,  Nazis, fascists. All while the President remains silent with this kind of rhetoric. One must conclude, he agrees! 

We have a President anointing “Czars” who have not been elected and who, even more frighteningly-- have zero OVERSIGHT. When one of these Czars—a Mr. Van Jones—is found to be a card-carrying radical communist, who is a 9/11 “Truther”, believes in the mass “poisoning” by “whitey” of large groups of people of color, who defended a convicted cop-killing communist racist and participated in race riots as a result of this defense—Mr. Obama remains silent. He barely even distances himself from this man’s ideology. When Mr. Obama’s talking head – Robert Gibbs is interviewed, we hear Mr. Obama “accepted” the resignation from Mr. Van Jones. Not because this man’s background and radical beliefs was uncovered or discovered, but because Mr. Van Jones said there were more important things for this administration to get to and he’d (Van Jones) be a distraction.

More important things? The fact that this President is appointing Czars who are radical communist, anarchists isn’t important? Is there any doubt that Mr. Obama is like-minded with the Van Jones and Reverend Wrights and Louis Farrakhan's of this world at this stage of the game? Time to wake up America!

We have a President who sends course curriculum through the Department of Education, to our schools with chillingly Orwellian language before he speaks via telecast to the schools of the nation. It’s not that a President of the United States wishes to address the children of our schools. It’s the way this administration went about it! Prior to the speech today, a course curriculum was distributed to our public schools across the nation, by THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION.

To further make my point, I would ask the reader to insert “President George W. Bush’s Address to Students…” to the above course "menu" and see if there would have been a problem with that!

The list of egregious actions by this administration goes on and on and on.

Don't you agree that it's time to wake up America? Let your voice be heard, before it’s too late and dissenters are silenced and our Declaration of Independence—along with our Constitution is annihilated.

      Again thanks for the New Years message, but this is about your article......................Good Job! Isn't it amazing that our elected officials placed their hand on a bible and swore to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America.

      I myself judge no man. He will be judged by God and God did not place me here to judge Obama. I may not like things he does, that, I must put in Christ's care alone. Yes people in higher places than I, like others who have charge over Obama can judge him by his works and even have the power to remove him from office. But we are to pray for our presidents and others in office, in hopes they can be saved too. No man is beyond repentance, and I see a lot of hatred for this new president. I do not hate. Jesus said to love our enemies not hate them. Hatred is not from God. We must love all people or we are prejudice. I'd be careful, as rumors can also spring forth and gossip is of the devil.

      I will have to respectfully disagree Sciantel. The Bible makes it clear that we judge and should judge -

      "The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment." (Psa 37:30)

      "With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth." (Psa 119:13)

      "Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy." (Prov 31:9)

      Jesus commended Simon, "Thou hast rightly judged." (Luke 7:43)

      "Now, thou son of man, wilt thou judge, wilt thou judge the bloody city? yea, thou shalt show her all her abominations." (Ezek 22:2)

      "But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man." (1 Cor 2:15)

      "Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?" (1 Cor 6:2)

      "Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?" (1 Cor 6:3)

      In context that verse merely means - if I judge - I had better be ready to be judged myself. I'm ready to be judged, the good the bad and the ugly. I am by no means perfected - I'm not home with Jesus yet. However, regardless of that realization - it does not mean I can not or should not as a Christian (or even Jew for that matter) call a sin a sin when I see it.

      Ye shall know them by their fruits. If we just look the other way and refuse to judge the sins of ourselves and others, then we sanitize the very sins we should be pointing out so as to avoid them (as Christians).

      But I understand your point - but to be clear - I'm not judging his ultimate salvation - just his very rotten fruit.

      I respect your disagreement though and thank you for your comments.

      Its tough. I live with my mom who just loves Obama and will not talk about anything else. I do not judge Obama. I do not know enough to judge him for the Lord says not to judge or by the means you judge so will you in return be judged, but I do feel that we don't have much longer until Jesus calls us all who love Him home.
