Power struggle in Kenya

For a long time there have been power struggle in Kenya which is usually between the ruling coalition which is Jubilee Coalition led by Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition coalition which is CORD which us led by Raila Odinga.

Opposition has accused the ruling government embezzling public money and failing to fulfil what they promised Kenyans during their campaigns.The opposition has also held 'peaceful ' demonstrations demanding the current IEBC officials to resign because they are unable to conduct fair elections come 2017 .There was destruction of properties,people were injured while others were killed.These led the government and opposition to form a team which would discuss the matter concerning IEBC.By now everything is underway with the Kenyan citizens hoping for the best so as to avoid postelection violence come 2017.Kenya is planning to hold its general election come 8/8/2017.
