Let's Help Save Nature

Updated on February 25, 2013

Look deep into nature... Then you will understand everything better. -Albert Einstein.

Nature can be the greatest blessing
That we can get from God
It is there we get all that we need
So we must take good care of it.

Let the forest, mountains and hills
Be filled with sturdy trees
With playing palms and soaring birds
And not an arid desert.

Let the rivers, lakes and streams
Be clear and lovely as crystal
Filled with wriggling fishes and creatures
And not a garbage-dump earth.

Let the air that gives us life
Be an oasis of fragrant flowers
A paragon of peace
And not a polluted dark smoke.

It only shows us that life sprouts anywhere
And this world will not be an empty song
Let us make our nature
A paradise of hope.

And as I watched the endless horizon
I think about tomorrow
We all need these wonderful creations
To be able to live with happiness on our hearts.

Let's support the "Let's Paint the World Green" theme.

I love nature in all its beauty. We are interdependent upon it not only for our senses but also our very lives. If we keep cutting rainforests down, as an example, soon we will not have enough oxygen to breathe. If we keep polluting our oceans, lakes. streams and land masses, soon enough we will be poisoning ourselves as well because we rely upon foodstuffs from those places. So many reasons to help save nature!

      Myz -

Love it! You're stating what all should be shouting from the rooftops. Man destroys all he comes in contact with. Always has, always will. Until, there's no more man. Educated? Yes. Intelligent? No.

      Great Job!

Nice. The sentiment is excellent. Too bad there are so many people, young and old and of all races, that do not care to take care of Mother Earth.

Saving and preserving nature is nothing less than saving ourselves, we have already destroyed so much of this planet. If we do not open our eyes to see what we are doing today, we may not have a tomorrow.

My small practical way of painting the world is to sprinkle wild flowers where ever they will grow not much, but it's a start.

Beautiful poem, Unknown, beautiful thoughts. Voting up.
