Lies, lies, and more lies!
What the Gop is saying to America...

By Joanne Kathleen Farrell

Here is just a few of the facinations blurted out of the mouths of Republican speakers in the past week. They have claimed Obama is a threat to Medicare. Ha Ha. Well, they leave out the FACT that Ryan was part of the team to dismantle medicare and replace it with vouchers. Here's another good one. Obama didn't save General Motors! This is quite comical. Obama was not even the president yet when GM folded. How manipulative. I'll give you one more for a good laugh. They claim liberals are attacking marriage. They claimed if you do not give birth to a child first ( before marriage) the divorce rate is only 2%. Are You kidding me? The truth is that divorce stats are developed by studies in various age groups; young married having the highest rate. America has a 50% divorce rate while those who marry between 18-24 years of age have a 12% higher rate. ****According to the Center for Dise... ase Control Family Growth Study : those couples with a prior child have a 56% failure rate after 10 years. Those between ages 24-34 have a failure probability of 50% after 15 years. No it is not 2%!!!! Do these folks go to school? Honestly, this really makes me question the requirements for schools in other states around the country and what they are taught. Last lie. This one was once used by Sarah Palin. That is , if our forefathers did not want God part of our government they would not have put it in the Pledge of Alligiance! Actually they did not put God in our pledge. It was not written by our forefathers and was added to the Pledge of Alligiance during the Eisenhower Administration post WWII. I am so tired of these tactics. It makes me feel that there is not a politician in either party who is worth voting for.

Wishing America Peace
