Michael Avenatti: Updated Policy Positions
'Nothing Lasts Forever'
Michael Avenatti: Can The 2020 Democratic Nominee Beat Donald Trump?
In between personally escorting a Central American child, separated from his mother under the much-maligned policy of U.S. President Donald Trump, as reported by the Hill Reporter, home and representing celebrity clients like adult film star Stormy Daniels, Michael Avenatti has been quietly building a veritable horde of emphatic supporters, apparently eager to see his proposed 2020 presidential run.
Mainstream pundits like Joe Scarborough and Tucker Carlson have openly questioned Michael Avenatti's political experience. Though he has never been elected to public office, Mr. Avenatti has worked performing opposition research for current Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and been involved in "over 150 campaigns in 42 states, including multiple gubernatorial and congressional campaigns," including former Vice President Joe Biden's campaign for the U.S. Senate.
Asked by NBC for his opinions on other potential 2020 Democratic presidential campaigns, Michael Avenatti declined to comment on specific individuals, instead stating that he feels several would make "an exceptional president."
"The fact of the matter is, I don't think they will match up well against Donald Trump," the attorney explained. "If the Democratic Party focuses on nominating the person that will make the best president, that's going to be a critical mistake."
"Can the potential nominee beat Donald Trump?" Avenatti asked. "Period."

Democrats Must Win Back Obama-Turned-Trump Voters
In addition to his connection with voters disillusioned with the current commander in chief, Michael Avenatti has posted a list of policy positions that can only be compared to those of the most progressive, game-changing, left wing politicians like U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders and congressional hopeful Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Michael Avenatti believes that many Americans who voted for former President Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012 turned their back on the Democratic Party after being drawn to Donald Trump. He believes voters in states like "Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin" and "Iowa" hold the key to the success of the Left.
Asked about the strength of leaders on the Left, such as Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer, Avenatti allowed that they have been "strong," but held that "it's time for a change" and a "younger generation."
When asked about his motivation for a presidential run, Michael Avenatti explained that he sees the United States at "a precipice of potential disaster" under the leadership of Donald Trump.
"I think our republic is at risk," the attorney stated. "I think that the nation cannot afford another four years of Donald Trump and his disrespect for his office, his disrespect for working people, [and] his policies."
