Very cool. I thoroughly enjoy visiting military museums. I have always made a point of making the effort to see one, anytime I get close. The museum at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland, is my all time favorite. Thanks for the useful info.

Being a veteran of the British Army, and wanting to follow in my Grandparents and great Grandparents footsteps, I completed over 12 years service, I've always been interested in military history. Bovington Tank Museum is a great museum to visit if you're around Dorset, South of England. RAF Hendon is also a great military aircraft museum, near London, and Duxford do a fantastic air show in Cambridgeshire every Summer.

Last year I visited my relations in Fort Wayne, they too have a fantastic military museum, I was gob smacked when driving up towards the museum, there in front of me was an old Chieftan tank which I was once crewed on back in the '80's!

      Wonderful lens, thank you.

Excellent job, this is a great directory. Do the Air Force Museum at Hendon (London) and the Tank Museum at Bovington (Dorset) count? The Tank Museum has one of the largest (if not the largest) collections of armoured vehicles in the world. Nicely done, blessed.

The Imperial War Museum is great, it is south of Thames and not too easy to get to. Also like the little War Museums scattered throughout Europe, also must visits Verdun (WW1) and the Maginot Line forts
